  • Uncomfortable, almost painful sensitivity

    Hi everyone,

    Been reading posts here for a while, but only registered recently.

    I'm hoping someone at this great forum could give me a bit of advice. My main issue is overly sensitive head (to the point of losing erection during oral sex, and my partner touching my head with her hand is unbearable). Interestingly, holding a kegel reduces this sensitivity, and doing a reverse kegel increases it. The problem here is that holding the kegel makes me reach the PONR earlier.

    The STU fleshlight did help to a limited extent, but I'm on semen retention 45 day streak with huge benefits I definitely don't want to let go of. Fleshlight mostly helped with reducing head sensitivity while holding a reverse kegel.

    So, I'm looking for a solution for reducing sensitivity without masturbation basically. I've seen a post on this forum mention something "living skinned-back", but that it's not to be taken lightly.

    Does anyone have any ideas how to approach this? I'd be very very grateful!

      Gumica, I am also new here for the most part. What I suggest is for you to read, read the stickies there's tons of info up here. I also have issues with sensitivity but what I'm doing to gain control is be aware of pf, ballooning in combination with deep breathing and edging. Your goal should be to maximize your stimulation tolerance. With time your body will adapt to this high level of stimulation and you will be in control.

          Yes, forgot to mention, I'm uncut. Also, this increased sensitivity is kind of new in the last year or so. I've always been more on the sensitive side, but it hasn't always been this strong.

          Benefits I'm experiencing aren't sexual, they're more things like more energy, easier to focus, easier to lose bad habits etc. It's mostly related to dopamine I think.

          Thanks Soldierx7, I didn't notice ballooning before, I will definitely have a look.

          Pegasus, are you not a fan because you think it has negative sexual effects or you think it's just not necessary?

                If you use lube on the glans, it will be less sensitive to the touch.

                  I suggest you will get more benifit from pre e training after your no fap is over . Or do you come with the gf in which case lucky you and read the stickies there is a lot there that can help you

                    Yeah, didn't want to "advertise" it, cause it doesn't seem like the right place to talk about it - and also, I don't really care if someone does it or not. But if you're interested, happy to share. Some of the specific benefits: quitting drinking has been 10 times easier than every before, staying on a diet also, following a schedule much easier, avoiding binge-watching bullshit tv shows.. it takes a lot less time for me to persuade myself to get up and do something instead of just postponing it... things like that.

                    Like I said, I think it's mostly to do with dopamine, dopamine receptors get re-sensitized IMO. Check dopamine detox videos on Youtube, there's a bunch of them... Long story short, the more you flood your brain with dopamine using porn, alcohol, cake etc. the more dopamine you need to get you going. When you get used to less dopamine, smaller things like learning, solving problems etc. keep you going easier.

                      Soldierx7, thanks again for the ballooning tip, I think that might be the missing piece for me. I actually have a weird redness on that spot, I think there's a big chance it might be connected to the whole sudden increase in sensitivity. I always thought ballooning was related to penis size exercises and just skipped it and focused on reverse kegels etc.

                        Not the place to argue about this, if it works for you it does. But I certainly do not see any benefit in not ejaculating, and I see no relation between nofap and e.g. watching tv shows.
                        One of the things to overcome Pre E a person has to learn is to be cool with his dick, chill about sex and masturbation.

                        And execessive porn and smoking and drugs impact on dophamin receptors is not going to be corrected by getting no dophamine to body, balance, always balance is the answer.

                          No prob bro we are all in this together on the journey to success. As much as we can I believe sharing our experiences and achievments will greatly help our fellow men. I once had the redness underneath the gland frenulum area but that was an injury I had going on while performing frenulum stretching. This redness also made my frenulum extremely sensitive as well but after applying a corticosteroid cream for about a week I recovered. My suggestion is try to find out what made the redness appeared was it an injury or allergies? Recover first before doing ballooning.

                            Have you considered quiting porn ,alcohol and cake . In my view it is difficult to masturbate too much without porn and it is porn that is the issue not masturbation .

                            NoFap is implicated in your sensitivity increase by the way .

                              Soldierx7, thanks, it's not an injury, but it might be an allergy or something like that. I think I'll start by going to the doctor and maybe switching the soap.. which I probably should have done a long time ago. No need to wait for more serious symptoms before going for a quick checkup.

                              Pegasus, totally agree about it being difficult to masturbate too much without porn, and that is definitely the way I'll go forward. Don't need porn in my life anymore, but masturbation will come back at some point. I fell into this nofap thing by accident, I was sick for a couple of weeks so naturally avoided ejaculating during the illness, but then I just figured I'll keep it going and see what happens - and good things happened.
                              Thanks for confirming nofap might be increasing sensitivity, I was afraid that might be the case. I'll work on my sensitivity without an erection for a while, ballooning without erection, reverse kegels, and then start including edging at some point. If any other methods of reducing sensitivity without erection come to mind, please let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it.
