Hi all,
The I'm looking to start a progress thread for severe PE. The main goal here will be to create a log to track progress, discoveries, and to constantly seek feedback and advice. I hope to add to this thread on a weakly basis. :P
I've been experiencing premature ejaculation about a month after I discontinued taking an SSRI (celexa). The first time I ever had sex and ever since then, until about 3 months ago, I have been on the SSRI. My PE now is rather severe, I typically last about 10 seconds in penetrative sex before reaching PONR and maybe a minute with oral, during second rounds PE is never a problem. Luckily I have recently found a sexual partner that I have discussed the issue with and have sex with once or twice a week, allowing me to track progress or lack thereof over the past few months.
For about 3 months now I have been following a daily routine to combat premature ejaculation:
Efficacy: No positive results in terms of delaying PONR during initial sex, I have seen results related to edging. Also I think I have increased control during round 2, but like I said, round 2 has never been an issue. I will continue with this routine.
Other things I've tried:
Efficacy: No positive results in delaying PONR at all during initial sex, during round 2 it seems to make it harder to reach orgasm. Have not tried it enough to confirm that it actually makes it harder to reach orgasm. I might continue experiencing with this or I might not.
Efficacy: No positive results in delaying PONR at all during initial sex, this is of particular concern to me. It leads me to believe that a significant portion of my PE is related to arousal. I probably won't return to this method.
Efficacy: No positive results in delaying PONR during initial sex. I think that coupled with the Kegel routine, I have a bit more bodily awareness of involuntary kegels, when to RK and when to Kegel, however this awareness has only helped in extending edging sessions not in extending penis in vagina sex. I will continue with edging to try to gain better control of my arousal.

If anyone has advice or feedback PLEASE respond.
Best,
SF

For about 3 months now I have been following a daily routine to combat premature ejaculation:
- Kegels
- 60 front kegels
- 60 reverse kegels
- 60 rear kegels
- 60 reverse rear kegels
- Stretching / exercises focused on reducing anterior pelvic tilt / relaxing pelvic floor
- Hindi Squats
- Hamstring stretches (various)
- Quad stretches (various)
- Hip Flexor stretches (various)
- Hip trusts (unweighted)
- Dead bugs
Efficacy: No positive results in terms of delaying PONR during initial sex, I have seen results related to edging. Also I think I have increased control during round 2, but like I said, round 2 has never been an issue. I will continue with this routine.
Other things I've tried:
- Kratom 2-7.5g dosage about 30 minutes before sex
Efficacy: No positive results in delaying PONR at all during initial sex, during round 2 it seems to make it harder to reach orgasm. Have not tried it enough to confirm that it actually makes it harder to reach orgasm. I might continue experiencing with this or I might not.
- Desensitizing condoms, specifically the Durex performance intense brand with Benzocaine 5%
Efficacy: No positive results in delaying PONR at all during initial sex, this is of particular concern to me. It leads me to believe that a significant portion of my PE is related to arousal. I probably won't return to this method.
- Edging, for the past 2 weeks I have been edging with the goal of understanding my arousal levels better, controlling involuntary kegels, and deconstructing the established link between arousal and PONR
- No porn (just imagination)
- I try not to cum at all
- the first week I failed alot
- the second week I have been more successful
- I reach PONR rather fast when imagining a partner and specific things that they would do (moans, dirty talk, a look on their face)
- I also reach PONR faster when I grip my penis in a way that more simulates vaginal stimulation
- When I reach near PONR I found that if I start ballooning it stops the involuntary Kegel and if I continue ballooning I pee a little (anyone have a similar experience??)
Other:
- I have been diagnosed with major depression and bipolar 2, I am currently not on any medication.
- I believe much of my PE is related to serotonin (or lack thereof).
- I also believe that having sex with the SSRI for so long may have caused me to develop bad habits in terms of arousal management etc. etc.
- Anterior pelvic tilt, hamstring and quad tightness I think also may play a roll.
- Should I try to get into the gym for core, squats, RDLs, hip thrusts, etc? Has anyone found success with this?
- Does anyone have any advice in delaying PONR while edging rather than just recognizing it?
If anyone has advice or feedback PLEASE respond.
Best,
SF
