    Hi everyone!

    I have been on and off this forum, trying things here and there but without consistent success. Now I'm getting serious and think starting a log would be a good idea.

    Intro:
    A little bit about me, I'm in my early 30s. Don't have a long-term partner, just a few flings here and there. I've been a multiple shooter. I would shoot the first load in 1-2 minutes, wait for an hour, then do the second one in 3-5 minutes. Normally my third load would be a good sex.

    Now that I've aged, my third load is not reliable anymore. Sometimes while switching position, I'll just get flaccid, etc. So now I have to rely on my 1st and 2nd load instead.

    Past/Current knowledge and status:
    Past:

    In the past I've read quite a bit and tried edging. Made a mistake of thinking that a strong enough RK at PONR will prevent ejaculation. Didn't quite understand when to use K, RK during sex. And while I know I was reaching the PONR during sex, it takes only a few thrust for me to get from level 4 to level 9.

    Current knowledge:
    In the past week, I've read up everything I could in this forum and think I got the big picture now. So my plan is:
    1. Practice Reverse Kegel - so that it takes longer to get to PONR
    2. Practice Kegel - to do Dry Orgasm when I need to
    3. Edge 2-3 times a week - to practice using RK, K and see how my body response, observe my feelings, basically put things into use
    4. Try a DO once my kegel is ready

    I've seen people mention yoga/massage but not sure about their effectiveness and they seem to take a lot of time.

    Current pelvic condition:
    Kegel:
    I've been doing random practice here and there. I can hold a kegel for 40 seconds straight.
    RK:
    I have no idea how to measure my RK strength.
    Edging:
    I can edge for 20 minutes. But if I haven't blown a load in a week, again there would be a lot of stop/slow.

    I just finished edging for the first time since I've finished reading this forum, it was quite an experience!

    I started Minuteman's workout on 15th Apr. It looks something like this:
    10 kegel-to-reverse kegel
    10 kegel-to-root lock flexes
    10 kegel-to-reverse root lock flexes

    10 reverse kegel-to-kegel flexes
    10 reverse kegel-to-reverse root lock flexes
    10 reverse kegel-to-root lock flexes

    10 root lock-to-kegel flexes
    10 root lock-to-reverse-root lock flexes
    10 root lock-to-reverse kegel flexes

    10 reverse root lock-to-root lock flexes
    10 reverse root lock-to-reverse kegel flexes
    10 reverse root lock-to-kegel flexes

    Problem is, I can't really tell if I work out the RK intensely enough when I do it.

    Sometimes it just feel like I'm doing nothing, then it feels like pee is gonna come out and I have to kegel a bit.

    Other times, I have to tense up my abs to push the RK. And feel like pee coming out if I push too hard.

    And when I try meditative RK where I breathe in and RK, I found that I has to hold my breath a bit to really feel like workout out the RK, otherwise I can feel like I'm doing nothing, yes the pelvic isn't tense, but still feel like just letting my dick hanging there like normal while breathing in.


    All this changed during the edging session tho. Coz pee doesn't come out when you're erect so you can RK as much as you want lol.

    Edging:
    This is the first time ever that I feel the IK with my fingers when I masturbate!
    The IK is there every time I do anything sensitive to my penis like the downward rhythm of he stroke, rubbing the tip.

    I found that when I RK using my abs, the RK can stop some IKs from stroking. While if I breathe in with RK, all IKs are gone. Problem is I can't keep breathing in. When I exhale, the IKs come back.

    Also found that 'holding a light RK throughout the session' couldn't prevent all the IKs. Maybe my RK is not strong enough.

    PONR:
    There was one point during the edge that I reached 9. I didn't take it as a PONR but wanted to try holding a strong kegel. So I did hold a strong kegel and it brought me to a 9.8,, and went back to a 6 with some precum coming out. After that my dick became less sensitive to the touch but didn't lose the EQ. That might be a retro ejac :0

    That's all for today. I'm pretty busy on weekdays and might be able to edge only on weekends Will try to edge on Wednesday as well tho!

      By the way today I tried to edge by myself lying on the bed and couldn't keep it fully erect (maybe coz I came twice on Wednesday). So I ended up resorting to porn. I figured my arousal during sex is more than porn anyways so it shouldn't hurt to use porn to train.

      I paused it a few times when I get to the 7-9 range tho, to really pay attention to my body. Then unpause it when it goes back to 3-4.

      Will see if this Wednesday I can get fully erect without porn. Otherwise I might have a problem :0

        Hi Plahima,

        I too experience the same IK problem during edging. I have just started practicing kegel and rk. First I am planning to do 5 mins of alternative kegel and rk and slowly improve. Is that fine?

          Hi fams33

          Honestly I'm not qualified to answer your question. My best guess now would be to follow Minuteman's work out guide. It has levels that we can work up on. At first any workout plan should be fine, but once we get better I believe increasing the time/reps would give diminished return and we should change the routine.

            As the pelvic floor becomes more relaxed IK become less of an issue . So doing rk usually helps with this over time but there are a range of other methods if required .
            Careful with porn .

              So edging progression can be done a bit differnt for DO training than for pre e training .

                Thank you Pegasus. Think I'll try the DO kegel hold when I reach level 3 of minuteman workout.

                Since I could do all level 0 with ease, I decided to skip the work out to the level 2.2 where I can do it twice a day but would get tired in the last 2 reps.

                10 (5-10sec) reverse kegel holds

                10 (5-10 sec) root lock holds

                I feel that my kegel hold is much stronger now. Pretty impressive considering i've started only a week ago.

                I also did some weight-lifting and took some protein shake. Funny to think that those protein might have helped PC muscle to grow lol

                It is still hard for me to isolate the front and back especially RK. Feel like my mind can isolate, but not sure if my muscle movement is actually different. So I plan to do the level 0 training whenever I'm free coz they don't drain my PC power anyways.

                  Do not attempt a full power rk till you are more conditioned rk at lower intensity is recommended initially .

                  Fine muscle control develops over time .

                  Have you read the the edging link ? I have another more geared for general/ pre e /

                    Is a full power RK similar to when one tighten his abs when he's got constipation? I think from Minuteman's work out "10 (5-10sec) reverse kegel holds", I feel strange that I don't need a rest between the reps, I could just keep the RK for 1 minute or even 5min. So I tighten my abs more to make it feel like a work out rep.

                    1. Be aware of the arousal scale and Ponr
                    2. Try K and RK at different points including ponr to see the effect on arousal
                    3. Use Kegels to avoid ejaculation - DO
                    4. go for MMO

                    I think I'm in stage #2 right now.

                    In the past, I've one edging for 3 months consistently but without K/RK workout. I could last for 20 mins during edging but I found that during sex my arousal increase rate stays the same as before. I knew I was reaching the ponr, I'd slow down, but then it'd take me only a few thrusts to reach ponr again.

                    So this time my plan is to use RK to slow that arousal rate. And use DO to reset the arousal once it reaches ponr. This is because I'd have to slow down during sex too much to not reach the ponr, it'd be easier to just DO and start from level4.

                      The concept of progression with edging seems poorly understood onsite . I have sent pm another thread that explains it better .

                      I am concerned re your power rk are you fully skilled and conditioned at lower intensity ?

                        Well received and I've read through linked forums in there as well. My edging will take some time as I only do it 2-3 times a week (I'm old haha).

                        Honestly I don't know. I wish there could be a test for this. I know how it feels like. I can do RK during edging and feel the difference ie. enlarged penis head, less aroused. And when I do a full power front RK I'd feel like pee is about to come out.

                        Oh actually quick question Pegasus. Is RK skill necessary for a DO? Is it enough to just have Kegel strength?

                          Just had real sex today.

                          She spent 15 minutes for foreplay. By the end of that I've reached the early ponr (9.2?) but was able to use kegel to successfully came back to a 6. Then started penetration and it went right back to ponr. Even if I tried using RK, it didn't slow down the arousal that much when she's still humping. Went back and forth between 8 and ponr twice in 15 secs and I came.

                          I partly blame the 15min foreplay. And wish I could do DO to just reset the arousal.

                          Nice to know where I'm at and not get too cocky

                          Today I'd continue the Minuteman's workout #1.2

                            Hmm you have some rk skill there is no doubt and that may be enough ,

                            I would not assume that DO will automatically reset arousal.

                              Thank you Pegasus. I still think my RK can be improved,, judging from how a lot of people say they are able to incorporate it during sex whereas I still can't.

                              Damn this kind of worries me. Well I hope I could just DO multiple times then haha.
                              I don't think it hurts to practice kegels anyways. Sometimes during sex when I don't feel well-rested and go unstimulated for 30 secs, my member just goes soft on me. So kegels should be able to help in that situation.


                              I came across a post by Sameel
                              It is ok to use abdominal muscles as these make RK's more powerful and effective. It takes some time to build some flexibility and isolate front and back muscles.
                              I just take a deep breath and push diaphragm hard towards pelvic floor (like a hammer). Doing these 500 daily for a couple of weeks really started making the difference.

                              Then I incorporated these during edging. I would do a quick RK and then thrust or stroke my member. The result was great and I would do this until my abs get tired. Somehow the hard hammer like RK would reset the pelvic floor muscles and effectively control the urge to ejaculate. Then I did the same during a sex session (in side by side position). The sex session was slow and lasted may be more than 20 minutes first time in my life without stopping. The only drawback was that I was tired by using my abs continuously with each thrust - and sex was more like an exercise. Then in the next sessions, I learned to use less force and RK would come to me naturally with each thrust. I hope this will help.
                              This really helps clear my confusion with MM's workout. It is ok to use abs, which put a start/finish into a rep of RK. Otherwise its a continuum.


                              By the way just started the 1.3 workout by MM:
                              10 (3-5sec) Tri-point kegels

                              10 (3-5sec) Tri-point reverse kegels

                              10 (3-5sec) Tri-point root locks

                              10 (3-5sec) Tri-point reverse root locks


                              Will edge later today, even if I don't really feel aroused and wanna just watch TV. Kind of hard doing this when you're in your 30's huh lol
