Ok aka you would benifit from rehab exercises ,these uncontrolled kegels you get ,take the form of a kegel contraction standard front and back as I understand it. You should stop doing standard kegels and do reverse kegels only , these can be done as a group, so fine control is not required.

For what it's worth I recognise that the standard BC kegel and PC root lock have different effects on my arousal.
I'm not however 100% sure how much either or both are involved in involuntary spasms & tension as there's a definite difference between involuntary BC clenches and the "background" tension I feel in my pelvic floor at high arousal levels.
I'm also not skilled enough with the reverses to identify how those actually affect my arousal level. This is probably something I need to take more time over once I've got them under finer control.Last edited by spanky; 01-26-2011 at 02:55 AM. Reason: spasms -> clenches (more accurate)

What is the best position to do reverse kegels in, I seem to have trouble doing them sitting, especially getting at those front reverse kegel muscles, any idea?
I can definitely tell that unconscious kegels are my problem, I feel it as a quick spasm that push me a great deal closer to the ponr, its like as soon as the first couple happened i am screwed. Do reverse k in any position you can at first, then over time you can develop the ability to do them in different positions.
The kegel you are doing is not bad as such, however it may be contributing to your imbalance. The central question is have you improved?

What I've come to recognise through doing kegels is that it's more than this for me, there's a continuous low level general "background" tension in my BC, maybe PC too, which has two effects. 1) brings on ponr as we know, and 2) makes the stronger involuntary spasms much more likely and much harder to anticipate or catch as there's less "distance" for the muscle to go.
I don't think I'll be able to fully hold off the involuntary clenches without first getting shot of that low background tension.
