Thread: Kegels and Reverse kegels.
- 02-26-2012 #1
Im thinking to start a kegel workout routine. Im a kegel beginner so I'd like to see if this will get me anywhere.
Im thinking or a 50 kegel and 50 reverse kegel workout every other day. Regular kegels will be 2-3'' and as hard as possible, followed by a reverse kegel (like trying to push out a fart for 1-2'' right? Correct if im wrong please...)
Should I continue this?
I also have to say that I followed some advices I read here and I saw some improvements over the last weeks.
First, I stopped watching porn, AT ALL. I dont need it anyways, and I can clearly say that getting an erection without it was harder during the first days I stopped watching it. Now I find myself waking up with really, REALLY hard erections that can sometimes last over an hour.
I started a combination of edging/ballooning. I masturbate at medium speep, keeping a good track of my arousal level, and slowing down when I see Im starting to move higher than 7. When I sense the PONR slowly coming, I go even slower/stop and just rub the head while trying out hard reverse or reguler kegels. I find that performing hard kegels and just focusing on keeping them for as much as possible drop the arousal level pretty quick, however this will also make my erection less hard. Then when I'm sure I won't trigger ejaculation, I start again and again. I can continue like this for as much as I want. However, after about 30', I stop and then I let myself go past the PONR. When this happens and I can feel that ejaculation is coming, I just squezze my PC muscles and my entire body trying to perform the hardest kegel of my life. With this I canstop ejaculation for like 4-5'' but after that I partially ejaculate after all. Im doing this every other day as well. My PC muscles are not strong enough to enable me to achieve a dry orgasm yet, but I dont blame myself as Im just a noobie to all this.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I change something?

Looks good. Are you doing any jelq and stretching with this or are you just working on premature ejaculation?

Don't kegel 100% hard when you first begin, take some rest days.
Do you maintain erection after a partial ejaculation?

Unit, no I don't care about my size, i've been told its good (7'') anyways.
Pegasus, ok I wont kegel really hard for now then.
After a partial ejaculation my erection is lost in the same way as I normally ejaculate. This is normal right?

To anybody with knowledge of this, would it make sense that my PC muscles are so strong compared to my BC that when I even try to RK at PONR, it feels as though the involuntary kegels significantly overpower the RKs and I feel like ejaculating anyways? Should I just be continuing practicing RKs to hopefully even this out?

Kegels overpowering reverse k is standard for guys with pre e. The standard rehab is a reverse heavy k/rk routine.

This makes sense I suppose. I was baffled for the longest time as to why many on these forums (JamesMonroe and others) swear by RKs to prevent ejaculation and to stay away from PONR, yet when I tried this it actually brought me closer. I just find it hard to believe that my bad masturbation habits have my my PC so strong wo where they involuntarily contract and do this?

Ok if you are using rk within sex or mas you should do them further back from ponr. The starting point should actually be stop/start edging and a kegel/rk routine, then later start using rk early during sex.
As skill develops you can use kegels and reverse k in a range of techniques but this takes time.
It isn't only mas that causes spasms, there seems to be a number of factors in daily life. Some guys tend to carry tension in their pelvic floor, in the same way I carry it in the shoulders.

What would you suggest doing outside of RKs to possibly keep the pelvic floor muscles more relaxed? Because lately during masturbation I have been able to go for up to 20-30 mins of near constant stimulation and keep the spasms at bay, but when with a female/watching porn (no masturbating) I can feel me pelvic region instantly tensen up and begin to pre cum a fair bit. Will the RKs solve any of this aswell? Or should I look into some arousal management techniques? Because I do believe if I could keep my arousal levels down that would help, as I believe it is one of if not the main issue.
