Long time reader/first time poster.
Just wondering...
I have been reading and applying ideas and techniques learned here and have come to believe through trial and error is that the number one thing to master is understanding the situation with you pelvic floor and what you might be doing unconsciously that causes problems. For me anyway, and I know that it doesn't apply to all, the number one thing that has helped me is understand that I have trained myself to constantly flex my pelvic floor muscles. Its all realted to stress and how that makes you "tense up" and not be aware of what you are doing at a muscular level. Now that I am aware of the muscular causes of orgasm, the simple idea of paying attention to and relaxing the pelvic muscles has proven to enhance my ability to last longer, much longer.
I truly believe that so much of this in our heads, at least mine. For me, anyway, it seems to be a stress response. I get excited, I worry, I tense up then BAM!!. Its over.
Now that I have started to pay attention to what I am doing and how my body reacts to getting aroused I can last longer by simply relaxing. It made me think about other things that might be related. For almost all of my life I have had trouble peeing in a crowd whether in a stall or at the urnial. That has led me to holding back from peeing in public no matter how bad I have to go. The only way to do this through strong flexing of the pelvic floor muscles. It had become a natural state for me, always holding it in, training myself to flex mypelvic muscles. Now that I have become aware of the fact that I was constantly flexing my pelvic muscles, not only can I last longer but I can go into a crowded public restroom and pee like a normal guy.

That's great that you have had this breakthrough Danewguy. I have a suspicion that this is really a very common but largely non-talked about problem.

I have the same two problems and have been trying to start a reverse kegal program and would apretiate any pointers i.e how often you done them how many what yo started out at and what u built up to? Glad to hear uv made progress mate hope i can too

Danewguy, could you explain how you approach this "being more relaxed" thing? I feel that I am in a very similar situation

You are 1 of a fortunate few with pre e that can just relax their pelvic floor and get a good result ,most have to do rehab exercises eg reverse kegels.

I have the same problems as well, I always thought they these two things are related. I've made progress on both fronts mostly through edging and trying to relax, but I am nowhere near where I want to be. I can piss in some places, but really small or crowded bathrooms I can't go in, Airplanes as well for some reason, don't know why though. Thanks for bringing this up cause Id like to hear more stories to see how related to pre-e and shy bladder are related.

I have the same two problems. Must be something going on with the two. Also when I ejaculated it does not shoot it just oozes out with no pressure what so ever. I think this is because of tight pubic muscles and tension. Any one else just ooze out like that.
