Thread: Confusion with Reverse Kegels

1) Hey guys, I've been through this thread (and others), and I CANNOT seem to reverse kegel without using my abs. I've heard several people say that the way to find the right RK technique is to kegel, and then relax the kegel. Well, nothing seems to be happening except the fact that I did a kegel. The only way I seem to be able to get that "push" feeling is to flex my abs.
2) Can anyone recommend a good RK routine, one that allows you to measure progress?

thank you for the very informative post.
after reading this, i've been trying it out and i think i got the front kegel down but the back, uh the only way i can do this is if i tense up my abs while doing back kegels. is this right? a little confused about this.Current stats:
BPFL: 6”
NBPFL: 5”
Flaccid Girth: 3.5”
BPEL: 6.75”
NBPEL: 6”
Erect Girth: 5”

It is hard to get isolation at first it improves with practise.

As I understood from this thread that it is a good idea to concentrate on reverse kegels for a period of time to help in PE before engaging in other training. So, I started my front reverse kegels around a month ago to cure my PE. I am doing ten minutes almost every day. When I had sex after a week of trying I noticed good improvement, however yesterday I had sex with my wife and I felt that I am back to level 0. I could not relax my pelvic floor or hold my ejaculation no matter how I tried.
Am I doing anything wrong? Is it possible that I am not doing the exercises correctly. Should I give it more time? Should I train for longer periods of time?
Please help!

Learn to rk with deep breathing and try applying this during sex. Also do it from time to time throughout the day so that it becomes your second nature. Include back reverse kegals and regular kegals in your routine. Workout your pelvic floor muscles using some yoga poses like butterfly etc.
It will take few months before you feel any significant difference.

Thanks Sameel for your reply. So should I include the kegels from the beginning or should I stick to reverse kegels for a while if I want to cure my PE? How much time should I wait before seeing results, given that I am doing the exercises on a daily basis? Where can I find illustrations for yoga poses that you mentioned?

2. As you start heavy rk routine, include some 30 percent regular kegals to balance out your routine. It will take few months to build some flexibility in the pelvic floor muscles.
3. Learn to apply deep breathing to lower your arousal during edging or intercourse and keep the pelvic floor muscles relax. This is important technique to suppress the involuntary reflex and bring the arousal down.
