Newbie here. I'm about 90 percent sure I have a tight pelvic floor so I'm giving up on normal kegels till I master front/back rk. The reason I suspect a tight pelvic floor is because I catch myself clenching throughout my day and lately I've been tling myself to stop/relax when I do. I also have trouble going number 2 after I kegel so I'm taking all this as a tight pelvic floor. I'm going to focus on the meditative breathing to learn to control the muscles down there. I do suffer from pretty bad PE. Eq isn't the greatest as well
I'd like to be a little more sure about me having a tight pelvic floor so if anyone has any word they'd be appreciated

I just wanted to post my experience so far with reverse kegels. Im pretty new to this site and have only been doing a routine for 1 week and 4 days. My program consists of simply doing 4 sets of reverse kegels, 30 reps with 4 sets, about 15-20 minutes twice a day, in the morning and at night. During the first week I held each rep for 2 seconds, but this week i've upped it to 5 seconds, so my sessions are longer this week. Im focusing on reverse kegels at the start because I feel like my pelvic floor is really tight so im doing these for a couple of weeks before I incorporate regular kegels into my routine.
As for results so far, wow just wow. During my masturbation and edging/ballooning sessions I can last for half an hour or more. This includes fully lubing up, and stroking the entire penis, from base to glans. Two nights ago in bed I went for an hour doing this. This morning I was a little strapped for time so I did 30 minutes before having to finish. During the pleasuring, I feel like im close to the PONR, but it's not quite there, it's like im teetering on the edge, but not going over.
Im just so pleased i've managed to make these sort of gains in such a short period. Previously I would last maybe one minute, two tops.Last edited by minute_man; 05-03-2013 at 10:48 AM.

Thats great minute man!
I too have been doing reverse kegels. But i think should get a solid routine.
anyways I have also noticed my edging has got better. I hope it translates well.
Seeing my girlfriend this weekend. Hopefully I won't worry too much. Confidence plays such a big role in how I perform.
good luck!

It's going to be difficult for minute_man to keep his forum name around here ..
OP you surely have a tight pelvic floor, you're on the right path since now you notice it's often tense, go for medidative reverse kegels and normal ones as well, they will take a while to master but you will succeed.https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...a-jelqing.html

It's such a confidence boost to actually last longer for once. I've had pre e since I can remember, probably since I started masturbating as a kid some 11 or 12 years ago. Growing up, whenever I would masturbate I would rub really fast and really hard, whilst kegelling all the way, you can imagine what state that left my pelvic floor in. It feels awesome knowing that I've made progress, but there's still much work to be done.
Btw in the OP it is recommended to ensure you do both reverse kegels and regular kegels to ensure a balanced pelvic floor, but aren't kegels what cause us to have pre e in the first place (involuntary kegels)? Why would be want to strengthen them? I also came across this thread here which says to not do kegels at all, but rather reverse kegels solely. That goes against what's mentioned here though.. so not sure what to do.

I suspect mr led is who popol was refering to.
It is possible to send the pelvic floor too relaxed and have negative effects on eq etc. This is one reason why many authors say to include some kegel . Other authors suggest an inital rk only routine until balance is restored and then include kegels.

Yeah that was just a bit of humor, you're well known here for all you've done conerning kegels and pelvic floor health, that's why it would have been funny from me to tell you about your tight pelvic floor ..
Anyway, I'm getting better with those reverse kegels, I've also discovered that by lowering my lower abs (making them move downwards) , I feel a push in my BC muscle, is that a proper isolated front kegel? I think so, and this way I feel less of the uneasiness I get when doing normal kegels (retain urine motion)https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...a-jelqing.html
