Thread: Confusion with Reverse Kegels

    Good morning. I had a question about kegeling. When you squeeze up. should you level your pelvic floor muscle so that the contraction starts behind your testicles and gose towards your anus, without contracting your anus. Also, is it okay to contract and strech toward your penis and toward your anus. Sometimes I get a tingeling sensation when I play around with my kegels but I canīt seem to pinpoint which stretch does it.

    When I push out the RK, should I be doing this on my IN or Out breath? Or does it not matter? I am a bit confused after reading the RK breathing thread. Also, as I try to hold an RK for 5-10 seconds, should I be breathing naturally? I am not sure about how to control my breathing while doing the RK exercises. Please help

    in doing Front Reverse Kegel is there any part that i can feel that is tighten or expand. im checking around my penis while peeing and try front RK
    but no signs that im doing it Right.

    in regular kegel muscle between anus and testicle will tighten up
    back RK my anus feels like expanding


    What should i feel physically outside when doing Front Reverse Kegel?

    Could someone please help me
    Identify what I have and what I should do next.

    I can't get harder than 75% but when I reverse kegel while edging I get to 95% in seconds. As soon as I stop doing a forcefull FRK I immediatley go down to 60% edging or not. Which makes me think I need to do a ton of RK

    However I get from 95% to 100% when I pulse kegel and RK and I have trouble kegeling to clear my tubes after urinating which makes it dribble.

    Im not 100% im doing FRK properly but I've learnt to relax that area which is almost always tight. It feels like my anus slightly bulges and i feel as if precum is going half way up my penis

    I forgot to mention when I do this for a few minutes I feel as if my d comes "alive" a connection between my d and brain are made and my libido picks up. I lost my libido (im 18) around the time i couldnt get harder than 75% 6months ago. Is this simply increased sensitivity or can a balanced pelvic floor increase libido?

    The pelvic floor assists with core stability and this can be comprimised when doing a rk.
    Universal: spasm in the pelvic floor can affect eq and rk can often help also ,deep squat ,yoga and ball massage. However advise medical check.

    Ive recently had an ultra sound on prostate, bladder and kidneys everything was fine. Urine and bloods were fine apart from my thyroid (TSH 6.2, t4 17.4). What other medical checks should I get?

    Also after about 1.5 weeks of FRK and some trigger point therapy all my urine problems have pretty much gone. EQ is still poor though maybe slightly better

    You should get test tested.

    I have been trying reverse kegels for years, and I simply cannot get them. The closest I can get is either regular kegels (which I can do just fine and they're strong enough to need reverse kegels) From what I understand, I need to push like i'm going to fart/poo, just not hard enough to actually do this. However, when I try, my abs flex and it becomes difficult for me to breathe naturally, so I can't hold these for more than a few seconds. Am I doing something wrong? Should my abs not flex? if not, how in the world do you do reverse kegels? My goal is to become minute man after a month or 2. I say that meaning I want to be able to last a minute, as I cannot even achieve that at the moment.

    EDIT:When I do my so called reverse kegels, I hope I'm doing them right, but there seems to be no change in my penis/testicals, they remain completely relaxed, while my taint has a slight pressure pushing down, my butthole expands a little, and my abs tense up. other than that everything else on my pelvic floor remains completely relaxed. I really need help with this.
