    This is a long post, but I think worth it for those that have the possibility of using a fleshlight. It just works way better than edging with your hand, which has barely made me last longer during sex.

    I'm a strong believer that a long term approach to edging with a fleshlight will fix almost anyone's premature ejaculation problems. As a long time sufferer that has tried countless methods, this is one of the only ones that has tremendously helped me. Unfortunately, lack of privacy doesn't allow me to hold a routine for more than a couple weeks or months during school breaks. I have gone from blowing in 3 strokes to being able to last 30 minutes+ at the peak of my performance. Time away from edging makes my PE worse, but everytime I have a long time to hold a routine, it seems to bring my base up. At the moment, I can last about 6 minutes no matter how long I am away from edging.

    I have taken a couple approaches, the best one is setting a goal for one week and sticking with that. For major PE sufferers, you HAVE to stick to the goal for a week because your body and confidence needs to get used to it. If you increase your time too much and too quickly, you are just setting yourself up to fail. Take a LONG TERM approach- think about it, if you increase your time by only 1 minute a week, you could last 57 minutes in 1 year if you start at 5 minutes. I'm sure most people that suffer like me would be happy at even 10 minutes, which is only 2-3 months! And what is that compared to years and years that you all have been suffering for? Trust me, nothing will set you back more than setting your goals too high and messing them up.

    The duel benefit of starting off slowly at 1-10 minutes is that your sexual performance matters most in the start. Think about it, if you don't feel your PONR within the first couple minutes and have a positive attitude, you could very well end up lasting 15-20 minutes. However, if you're having doubts from the start, you start worrying that you won't last long enough, and before you know it you blow in less than 2 minutes. With this routine, since you're going for a short amount of time in the start rather than going for the 30 minutes that a lot of other routines preach, you're hammering confidence and success into your brain in lasting for the most CRUCIAL time, the first couple minutes. Not only this, since these sets are so short, you can do multiple sets, maybe even 4 a day instead of only 1 or 2 times of going for 30 minutes. You're benefiting your body more, with less time. This is something I found it from experience, I was lasting much better by doing multiple, shorter routines than always going for 30 minutes. In this case, less is more.

    Another thing you MUST avoid is porn. It's negative effects have probably been equal to those from setting my goals too high and too quickly. Even when I "quit" porn, I'll put it on only to get a quick erection before edging, rationalizing that it won't effect me since its for a short time. 1 minute later, go figure, I'm putting some hard core porn on and busting the next minute. It's happened over and over but for some reason my brain doesn't figure it out that PORN KEEPS MESSING ME UP. Do yourself a favor, don't do it. Not even for a second, not even to get a quick erection, for NO reason. Think about it this way, what's going to help you in the long term to get an erection (for those of you that have some ED problems), watching porn or working up an erection over a couple weeks/months until your body can do it with no problems? The latter. DO NOT WATCH PORN, especially while edging with the fleshlight. There is plenty of information on its effects on this forum, search it.

    Another thing I have to talk about is using distractions, whether it be watching a movie or listening to music while edging. In the start of the thread, I said that I lasted above 30 minutes at my peak, but that was while watching TV. You guys have noticed it before, its way harder to last longer if you're focusing on the sex. Unfortunately, you can't watch TV while have sex or else your partner will kick you in the balls, so you'll have to train the right (and harder) way. It's ok to use distractions in the start if you're have a very hard time, but you must ween off it. Music helps a little to and is actually fine because you can use it during sex, but I just prefer not to use it.

    Positions- make sure you're practice a couple of them. Personally, I don't last long when I'm on top, so I've mostly been practicing that. You guys need to realize that success in one position doesn't mean you'll last as long in another. Most guys can last much longer on bottom than on top. Make sure you pick 1 or 2 positions, work on them for a couple weeks or however long you decide, and then work on another. The main ones are obviously top, bottom, doggy style, standing. Do them all. I keep one position for at least 3-4 weeks then change, but do your own method. I'm still not sure what works best here.

    My routine right not is not so strict because when I keep it too strict or hard, I get so tired of it and lose motivation. Give yourself some slack and don't try to beat it in 1 month, it won't work. I do 2-3 sessions 4-7 times a week, currently at 6 minutes. I increase the time by 1.5 minutes a week. No matter how much more I think I can last, I STOP AT MY GOAL TIME. I am newly motivated at the start of summer, but I know I'll bring down the sets later when I get bored of it. Not so low that I don't get any benefits anymore, but enough so that I don't totally quit and lose all my gains. You want to have a POSITIVE attitude about edging, not dread it.

    So what's stopping you? If you have the privacy to do it, DO IT.
    Money shouldn't be stopping you, ~70 dollars is NOTHING compared to your increased confidence, not to mention hours and hours of research that I know you guys do to get rid of PE. Time? Everybody has 20 minutes in their day. 5 minutes to warm up the fleshlight, 10 minute session, 5 minutes to clean up. Some kind of fear to buy a fleshlight? Get over it. Think of how awesome you will be when you can rail a girl for an hour without stopping. The only thing that should potentially be stopping you is privacy issues.

    FLESHLIGHT EDGING USING ONLY YOUR HAND WILL NOT FULLY BENEFIT YOU because you are not practicing the thrusting that makes it so much harder to last. I could last AS LONG AS I WANT sitting down and moving the fleshlight up and down. Actually thrusting in it, like is done in sex, makes it MUCH HARDER, so make sure to do that

    To be able to edge in positions such as top in which you're not just using your hand to move the fleshlight up and down, you must use towels. Take a towel, fold it in half hot dog style, and wrap it all the way around the fleshlight like a burrito so that only the opening of it is sticking out. Repeat with another towel or 2 for more cushion. Than you can just rest your body on the padded fleshlight. To do doggy style, you can stick it between your mattress and spring board. Bottom you can just use your hand, not towels necessary, and same goes with standing. If you guys have any problem doing this, I can take some pictures of how to do it.

    Couple more things fellas. Sorry for making this so long but there are a lot of important intricacies.

    1. You benefit much more if you don't ejaculate at the end of the session. However, prostate health and your sanity is crucial, so try to only ejaculate every 2-3 days. This can change depending on how often you edge, but just don't ejaculate every time.

    2.Once you get to the 10-20 minutes mark, it takes a lot more time to do these sets. Instead of increasing the time when you get to that point, you can either decrease the time or just stay at your current time, but increase your thrusting speed. You don't want to go jackhammer because most girls don't like that, but just make sure you're going fast enough.

    3.Use a stopwatch. You can distract yourself looking up at the clock every 20 seconds. To make sure you're concentrating at edging and totally in the zone, use a stopwatch that will go off when you are done.

    4. If you feel your PONR coming, take a 3-5 second break by pulling out and pinching the head, then go back in. The way I set the routine, you shouldn't be taking many breaks or feeling your PONR because I made it short sessions to begin with. You want your body to get used to lasting a while without reaching your PONR, which I didn't really talk about it. However, if it comes, use this method.

    5. I always have a period when I start getting increased EQ. I believe this is due to a combination of my body getting used to the fleshlight, which is a more natural, subtle feeling than a hand, and better association and confidence with the fleshlight after some success. This also causes me to decline in performance. If this happens to you, take it as a good sign, and just work your way back up. It's worth it.

    I don't want to make this a log, but I'll be updating it from time to time with any new progress or breakthroughs.

    Today I'm still at 6 minute sessions, 4th day. I almost convinced myself to go for longer multiple times, but I thankfully stopped myself because today I was able to go full speed for pretty much the whole time. Even at my peak when I could last 20+ minutes, the first couple minutes would still be hard and I'd have to take some PONR breaks. However, this time, it's as if my PC muscles didn't even exist. It truly felt like I was one of those guys that could last for an hour if I wanted to. Of course, this is only for 6 minutes and I did feel my PONR, but only in the last 30 seconds, and this was because I was going full thrust the whole time.

    THIS feeling is why I only increase the speed every week. Your body needs to get used to the feeling, and once it succeeds over and over again, it gets extremely confident. If anybody is reading this, make sure to take this advice. Even when you KNOW you can move on, maybe stay just one more day so that you can get that extreme confidence.

    I co-sign this thread! For some reason, when having sex it was a coin toss whether I'd last for a minute or an hour. That right there really threw my sexual confidence out of the window and I eventually started to lose my sexual desire due to performance anxiety. So, I bought a Fleshlight Stamina Training Unit and started putting in work. I admit, the first time using the STU was a pretty big let down (PONR was almost instant). But, like you, I set some goals and within about 2 weeks I'm up to AT LEAST 1200 strokes in about 15 minutes. I try to keep the speed of my strokes consistent with the stroke I'd use while having sex, while also occasionally speeding up and slowing down.

    Also, you're completely right about the porn. YOU MUST AVOID IT. You really don't want to become dependent on porn to achieve high EQ. It is best to meditate and really focus on the sensation, rather than the computer screen. This meditation and focus on breathing while edging will also really help you increase your stamina and become familiar with your body.

    You're also right about the positions. I thought I was really killin' it until I switched positions. My stroke count went down and it felt completely different. But what I've figured out is that it's all mental. It's not like the fleshlight magically changed materials to make me bust quicker; it's switching to a more realistic sex position that transforms the psychological aspect of masturbation to real sex. The more realistic the experience, the more you are subconsciously worried about your performance, resulting in a shorter session. So, it's all in your head! Kick that mentality to the curb, my man! Don't let your attitude towards changing position be the reason why your sessions are cut short.

    Great post Sincere, glad to know somebody is in the same boat as me. Switching positions is partly psychological, but also real. I believe my pelvic floor is dysfunctional (and/or prostate?) so doing the thrusting actually makes it a lot more intense. It's like day and night for me, when the girl is on top I can last for so much longer, it's just something about not moving your pelvic region vs. thrusting yourself. Maybe it is psychological in other positions though where movement is used for both. I remember when I first got my fleshlight, I could last 30+ minutes while sitting down, but achieved more or less than same results in real sex, that's when I got the towels idea, which has helped a lot more.

    Thanks, I'm definitely on the same boat. You are most definitely right about thrusting making it more intense, though. When you say you achieved more or less than the same results during real sex, do you mean 30+ minutes, or do you mean you achieved the same pre-stamina training results? Have you stopped using the fleshlight standing or sitting and solely started using more realistic sex positions?

    I meant I got the same pre-training results, using the fleshlight only sitting down and not thrusting didn't help my actual sex performance much. I mostly use it in the missionary position now because it is probably the most standard position, and I also always start off with it because gravity helps me with my ED, whereas I don't get as hard in other positions. I'm also better in other positions, especially bottom, so I don't need to work on them so much,

    I will probably switch to some other positions once I get to the 12-15 minute mark, currently at 7.5 minutes.
