I can do a reverse kegel alone without using any abs, but "some kind of muscle"(probably the diaphram and/or a bit of the lower abs) is what is "pushing/making possible" a "stretch".
    They are calling it a stretch because they claim that the reverse kegel action is not a muscle.
    Ok maybe it isn't, but SOME KIND OF MUSCLE is def involved in the stretch, so my argument is that you CAN strenghthen the reverse kegel, especially by training hard and pushing out hard, like weight training. That's how I got good at them.

    .....Any time you move ANY part of your body, including fingers and eyeballs, it's a muscle, not a stretch.

    meditation is the foundation of all control. it is the calming of the mind and the harnessing of its full capabilities. meditation should be your single most important tool. the difference between regular athletes and champions is how they think. they are not stronger physically. they are stronger mentally. i think anyone should meditate, and do cognitive training work Clear Mind Meditation Techniques.

    pranayama is the foundation of breathing in yoga. breathing is one of the only things in humans that is subconscious and conscious, and thus is a great tool for connecting the 2, along with becoming more oriented to our own body. your sense of self is crucial in pe (for example isolating your BC muscle)

    I agree with you on anyone being able to strengthen the muscle training hard and pushing out hard, James. But again you'll have to agree that it is not the only method which takes us back to the point that it probably is different for different people. I, personally, haven't been able to "isolate", but I know what I am doing when I am performing a reverse kegel. It sure is a muscle/some kind of muscle.

    So wouldn't it be flexing and not just stretching. My reasoning is that you need to flex something to be able to stretch something.

    Thanks for the link, I will check it out. Could it be another reason why hypnosis works as a cure for Pre E? Do you think meditation can help cure Premature Ejaculation for those people who have psychological Pre E. I'll read up more on the whole thing.

    I think the confusion is that people call the reverse kegel a muscle. I agree that it's not and that some kind of muscle or muscle are causing a reverse kegel to work. Does THAT make sense now....
    I must admit, I too thought that the reverse kegel was a muscle. Or that the same muscle (PC is it?) that makes a regular kegel possible was the same one flexing the opposite way acting as a reverse kegel. What if the PC muscle has 2 parts or just one part with 2 actions that enables it to flex both ways???
    But I don't believe that.... I think it's the diaphragm maybe helped with other muscles like the lower abs or whatever.

    I can definitely feel a stretch on a good day when I am solely focusing on it. I think you are right about your last statement.

    And yes I agree that some people have strenghened it without pushing hard and it just takes more time, but most of those people are the countless ones complaining that they "can't isolate" or "do it right".
    I believe in hard training/pushing out with long holds and short bursts.

    For most people the idea of pushing gives them the best idea of how to perform rk , just as you say push out a piss reather than relax out a piss. The feel might be more important than the science here.
    Remember to build up condition before doing max contractions.
