What about combining abstinence from porn and masturbation with a kegel routine to balance your pelvic floor?
In that way you can reprogram your arousal levels as well as fixing the physical cause of Pre-E.
I was reading a post about a guy who "cured" himself doing 3 major things:
1. Abstinence from porn and masturbation (aka no PMO for 3 months).
2. Kegel routine to balance your pelvic floor (specifically Minuteman's routine).
3. Exercising: this is very important because it will help you release the endorphins thus decreasing your urge to masturbate.

I think this is a little flawed.
1. Exercising increases my desire to have sex bc of the endorphins and energy.
2. If youve had lifelong Pre E, how will you know if your kegel routine is working if you don't edge at all for 3 months?
I don't subscribe to the reprogramming theory.
We aren't machines that reboot, we learn and adapt to sexual stimulation by putting ourselves in prolonged states of pleasure.

I agree dobby, I think rebooting is something that should be done if someone is excessively masturbating and/or using too much porn. Once they get away from that, no fap or abstinence won't do any good and especially for someone already with pre e.
Balance to the pelvic floor doesn't fix pre e, you can have an imbalanced pf and be average or above, or have de, and you can have a perfectly balanced strong pf and suffer pre e. Training to last long is what works ie: edging/ sex.A Game of Bones. A Stretch With Rice And Fire.

So funny thing, many people can edge indefinitely after a while, but still can't last in bed. This could be because in staying constantly exposed to arousal, our AOA never goes down, but rather stays high or maybe declines a little bit from not being exposed to extremely high arousing material.
The AOA theory would explain all of this as far as I can tell. It is my only explanation for how my Pre-E suddenly went away and has no signs of coming back.

i am going to give this a go. i rate myself at 2 (full control when solo edging but suffer from stamina with my partner) will keep this thread updated once a week. i for one believe this might work... when i first started dating my gf i was aware of my PE problem but i lasted a lot longer in the beginning stages of our relationship as i masturbated once a month for about 3 months prior to our relationship... but me knowing that i still had a problem i started worrying about it and searching for a solution... i perhaps set my mind in the mindset of "i am a premature ejaculator" but i need to fix this problem ..making myself more aware and concerned about my problem.i guess one has to be more chilled out about combatting this problem? DO NOT GET ME WRONG though I am not saying it is PEgyms fault. you guys have been a huge help to me!!! thanks again!

Does this help with the physical aspect of premature ejaculation as well?
I can see how this might be beneficial to people suffering from mental anxiety/over arousal problems because of porn. I used to watch porn for years before I started having sex. The first time I had sex, I managed to last 10 minutes easily, by slowing down and changing positions. But I wasn't satisfied with my time. I felt like I should have managed atleast 30 mins to be classified as good sex. (Thanks to porn)
So I started to consciously try to increase my lasting time. Ironically, this ended up with me not able to relax properly due to anxiety of lasting longer, getting kegel spasms and as a result my average time slowly started decreasing to the point where it became less than 1 min.
During this period, I also noticed that my lasting time while watching porn and masturbating has gone down significantly too. Before I started having sex, I used to watch high arousing porn for a long time without getting to ponr. But after experiencing sex, even normal porn puts me over the edge in a short time. I think this is because, whenever I watch porn now, I sort of visualise myself in that room fucking that hot girl. This is too much of a mental arousal for me. This affected my sexual encounters as well. Whenever I start having sex, the porn scenes start flashing in my mind and again, I used to ejaculate with minimal penile stimulation. I used to barely feel anything through the condom before I ejaculated.
This wasn't the case before I started having sex. I used to just concentrate on the two people enjoying themselves in the video and get myself aroused. And I used to ejaculate only when I want to.
Based on this, I concluded that I have mental arousal issues due to porn, so I stopped watching it.
It helped immensely with the arousal issues. I am mentally relaxed most of the time during sex.
Now, its the physical stimulation which brings me to the ponr. I can last 5 minutes easily if I try to relax my pelvic area, and keep the IK's in check. But its hard to keep going after that. My head is very sensitive and I can't handle stimulation for a long time. But during the 5 minutes, my mental arousal level doesn't go up.
I am planning to start a kegel/rk routine along with edging to help getting used to the feeling.
So I guess my question is, will abstaining help me at all?

Drummer19 - did you have wet dreams after you stopped edging and all arousal? If you did, did you cum quick in them?
