    Couple of questions:
    -do you think doing PE excercises (like jelquing) could interfere with the program?
    -you said that after 2 weeks of no porn/masturbation your general arousal went down, and you was even having difficulties getting an erection. I'm currently going without porn and masturbation for some time, and I'm having the exact opposite result: I'm horny as hell. Which is not really that bad: I feel more energic, more enterprising, more lively all around; only downside is that when I want to "release" the tension every week or two (by edging) I can't help but feel down there the istant urge to nut. Probably this has more to do with the fact that I have a lot of work to do balancing my pelvic floor.

    I did PE ,the JP90 Program, while I did this. There is a possibility it could have helped me, but it won't hurt to do it.

    There is usually a "horny as hell" stage and then the arousal fall stage later on. It may feel different on the person, but it is just generally expected.
    Keep balancing your pelvic floor, because that right there adds to your problem. Keep going, it sounds like you are on the right track.

    Really, really interesting thread. I just read all 9 pages top-to-bottom and I'm intrigued. I just started the arousal techniques and pelvic floor programs so I'm not going to take part in this, however, if I don't see any progress by the end of them I'm definitely going to look into this. There's a lot of really neat stuff in this thread and a lot of different angles.

    Hi guys, I think I know why this works. You've probably heard that muscles atrophy, or break down, with disuse. Neural pathways, the pathways in your brain that control things like emotion, habits, reactions, and in this case, arousal, also atrophy with disuse. Therefore, if you don't stimulate or reinforce the pathway with things like porn and masturbation, these neural pathways in your brain will actually break up. This explains why you felt a complete lack of arousal after 2 weeks. It's as if your arousal system died.
    My question to you (Drummer) is when you did this, did you edge at all, like once every week or two, or not at all?

    I did not edge to during this time. I did, however, do the Penis Enlargement routine JP90. That was the ONLY time I would touch my penis other than to pee.

    There are things I do not understand and seem contradictory. In the FAQ of Minuteman always find recommendations: pelvic floor balance, edging slowly, not porn, controlling arousal ... But in several posts I've read both yours (Drummer) and JamesMonroe, have you managed to say that the real control came once have you stopped performing these techniques. This sounds weird.


    Could you clarify this a bit more?

    I feel like I'd be a good candidate for this program. I've had really bad pre-e for 10 years (less than 10 seconds at worst, 2 minutes at best). I've also watched a lot of porn while masturbating during this time so I can see how the two might be related. I haven't done any of the arousal techniques or edging prior to trying aoa. I have however quit porn and masturbation completely 5 weeks ago. I've been hitting the gym, doing some pelvic floor stretches, meditating, and meditative rks during those five weeks. I know this is more than the program hopes to include but I feel that after all these years there has to be some physical problems that need to be addressed as well. Will keep you guys updated!

    This topic deserves much more importance. For premature ejaculators who struggle with the mental side and have very high arousal levels this might be the cure. I'll try to follow this theory and report in a few weeks.
