  • How Often Should You Kegel?

I'm just starting to do Kegels, I should have started when I started PE, but better late than never. Anyways, I don't know much about them but I have tried them before (do 50 or 100 in a day).

Since kegels are working out a muscle, should it only be exercised every second day (like a weight lifter would train), or should it be done every single day as if it is a cardio muscle (going for a daily jog kind of thing)?

Also, if I do my kegels right before masturbating/sex, will that help me last longer or will it make me cum faster because the PC muscle is tired? I'm thinking a kegel is the action you would do to stop urinating mid-pee. Maybe this is a reverse kegel and not a kegal.

    Thanks for any help/tips

I generally suggest to people to do a routine Mon, Wed, Friday with rest days in between and the weekend off.

You should read this and the links it contains for more about Pelvic Floor Balance.

Thanks for the link. If I understood it correctly I should be focusing more on reverse kegels than regular kegels (for premature ejaculation). I was only doing regular kegels but that's for delayed ejaculation (not quite sure what that is, not cumming when you want to and then going soft?).

Aaaahhhhh yes.....Delayed Ejaculation! I know it well. You masturbate or fuck for hours without being able to cum...there is a HUGE difference between not cumming and not being able to cum...trust me it suck and is not as much fun as it sounds!

I think every other day should do the trick.

What if you're just starting and doing 100% RKs? Since you're relaxing the muscle instead of working it out, it would be alright to do the RKs every day right?

If you're doing a 100% reverse kegel routine in order to reduce tension then yes you can do more than if you were doing a balance routine but I would still include a couple of days off.

                          What's the reasoning behind this?
