In short, you can train yourself to kegel during stimulation, to the point where it becomes ingrained. This is not good, and needs reversing with the techniques on this forum, such as competing response.
Kegels have always been associated with a quick orgasm, but kegels have not always been associated with masturbation. I did not do kegels in the beginning, therefore they did not make me finish faster.
