Reverse Kegels are not something you learn the first time you do them. It takes a while until you develop the muscle and start feeling it working. In later phases you will be able to isolate Reverse Kegels into two muscle groups, a reverse that is next to the anus and a reverse that is under the testicles.
I recommend you keep trying to do it until you learn how to do it, it is easier to do a reverse kegel while breathing in where you push out your muscles as you inhale, try doing it while sitting on a chair to feel it better (pretend like you want to take a shit, but DO NOT TAKE A SHIT thought ;p ), you will feel the RK pushing down on the chair.Last edited by buttersketch; 02-03-2013 at 05:41 PM.

It's ok in the beginning. I have been RK-ing for a long time, I still have a very slight push in lower abs. When you advance, your RK will be more focused on relaxing your pelvic floor than tensing your abs up. A slight reverse kegel is all you will need when you develop your balance.

I have been doing reverse kegels only for the last few days ( have hard flaccid and pe) but after reading this I'm going to try minute mans guide and go for complete balance. any thoughts?

Highly recommended. MM's the right way to go. It takes patience because in the beginning it requests you take it slow and keep progressing slowly. I say enjoy the process and enjoy the time you put into the program. The reason I recommended the video in the end of the post is because it taught my how to enjoy the menial, small, boring tasks that add up to the bigger picture. Good luck.

Do you think that doing a program consisting of 4 way balance will help relax my already tense pelvic floor?

Hey mate buttersketch, your 3 steps formula is my choice in order to get rid of the problem. Thanks for that. 2 question:
-You say you dont have a pelvic floor imbalance anymore, that means you dont have PE anymore? did you solve the problem for good? are you able to control ejaculation or simply last more than before, if so how much?
-would it be better if one starts with a pure rev kegel routine for some time to unclench/reset muscle and then start Minuteman's routine?
Thank you!

Guys, can you explain more what you mean about "hard flaccid" and how its that related with PE?
Sorry about my poor english, I'm on it!

What happened to me was that after the dry period, my Premature Ejaculation problem disappeared. It was no longer there. I compared it to people who never experienced premature ejaculation where the first time they fuck they last for three minutes and get better with time (at least many of my friends told me that happened to them). That is what happened to me, the first time I had sex after the dry period and STEPS 2 and 3, I came in three minutes, second time it was a good five minutes, third time I had to forcefully ejaculate through KEGELing, AKA, I had Delayed Ejaculation. Now, I can control my ejaculation (since I have a well balanced pelvic floor) and decide when I want to ejaculate.
The idea behind step one is restarting, were what happens is that your brain forgets your reaction to high arousal and when you get aroused and ready to have sex after three months, it will deal with the problem in a different way. The usual way for your brain to deal with the problem is to prematurely ejaculate since you have been doing that for the past decade. However, when you stop for 3 months, you forget how it feels like to have your penis stimulated and you would find that your penis looses the sensitivity it has accumulated over the years. In other words, your penis goes back to its normal state.
Now, if you do step one alone, you still have an unbalanced pelvic floor after the three months and the problem will remain, however, doing step 2 and 1 simultaneously will ensure you have a balanced floor and a restarted reaction to arousal and stimulation which will kill you PE.
I do not recommend an RK only routine, I recommend you go straight to MM's routine and do it slowly and give it its time. The idea is to balance, and MM's routine will do that. One of the key ways to deal with PE is to have strong kegels and people here seem to have forgotten that. When you have strong kegels you will have better ejaculatory control. People forgot that because Kegels alone are never any good, they have to be done with all the other muscles described in MMs routine in order for the kegels to be strong and in balance with all the other muscles, so what MM;s routine does is it balances you while giving you strong kegels, which manifests in ejaculatory control.
So, to sum it up, strong kegels with a balanced PF while allowing your body to restart its reaction to arousal and stimulation is the main idea behind the three step method.
Good luck
