    So I made a post in the beginners forum the other day which looks to have been ignored, maybe I wasn't posting in the right place?

    Anyway, I'm pretty new to all this so don't really know where to start. I have PE and was hoping that I might find a way to help myself on this site! I have been doing the following kegel routine for 3 weeks

    100 x 1 sec hold
    25 x 3 sec hold
    10 x 10 sec hold
    1 x hold until failure

    I repeat that routine twice. The reason I started kegels was because I read that once you can hold one for long enough then you just kegel as you're about to ejaculate and it holds it back. From reading various threads on this site it would seem that it's not so simple, so I thought I'd better start one of my own. I've read about reverse kegels, edging and all sorts of things. So what would you recommend to help someone like me out? I've given up porn as I heard this was a factor in PE. What exercises should I be doing to help myself? Are there any threads that I've missed?

    There is a bit more to it then just having stong Kegal muscles.

    This explains how to do it. I used to be able to do this all the time, but then I stopped practicing (my wife doesn't want me to be able to go all night) so I would have to start over again.
    (Late 1999): 6" BPEL x 5.25" MSEG
    (Early 2001): 7" BPEL x 5.75"MSEG (mostly Hanging/Jelqing)
    Aug 16th 2015: 7.375" BPEL x 6" MSEG
    Goal: I have retired from PE - So my goal is just maintaining.

        I think you need to incorporate reverse kegel routine and learn to do these with deep breathing. See following thread:

        This is great tool to bring your arousal level down during edging or sex. Some people report great success with it. Learn to edge by maintaing a light reverse kegel. If you experience involuntary kegels or spasms during edging, you can just do a reverse kegel to supress it. Reverse kegel keeps the pelvic floor or prostate in relaxed, whereas regular kegel puts pressure on prostate that is whey some people report accelerated ejaculation with regular kegel.

        With regular kegel, you can hold your ejaculation reflex, but you will have to bring your arousal down with reverse kegel.

          Thanks for the advice!

          Just a couple of things, I've been trying edging and using reverse kegels to lower my arousal level. However, once I get close to the PONR involuntary kegels start to kick in and as much as I try to RK, the involuntary ones are stronger. Do I just need more practice at RKs?

            Start doing rk's earlier when your arousal level starts rising. Also reduce stroking speed. Spend your time to keep the arousal around 6-7 instead of reaching directly to PONR (which is arousal level 9). Those who last long, know the art of keeping their arousal stable at 6-7 and bringing it down with rk or slowing down the strokes or just stopping for some time. This is also called plateu phase. So in simple words, extend your plateu phase and last as long as you want ... so understanding this theory is important.
