    Hi .. I've been doing the Kegel exercises for couple of weeks !!

    I Contract my PC for 5 seconds and i relax it for 5 second till 5 minutes !!

    So i was lasting longer than now !! Can I know why ? Do they cause PE And what is the
    solution is it by doing reverse kegel or what ??

    And I want to know what are the benefits of reverse kegel ? and shall I do the normal kegal and reverse kegal or just one of them ?

    Hi and to the Gym NoLonger,

    Please take a look at the stickies of the Premature Ejaculation Forum for in depth information.

    Performing kegels alone, has the effect you are describing, especially at first, you need to perform reverse kegels as well to balance and strengthen you pelvic floor muscles and have better control of your erections.

    Reverse kegels are basically relaxing your pelvic floor while flexing your abs to apply pressure on your pelvic floor and stretch it out gently.

    I also recommend you read the https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...ing-101-a.html thread and the https://www.pegym.com/forums/prematu...aculation.html thread for an exercise aimed at improving your awareness of your body's response to sexual stimulation and arousal thus lasting longer.

    I'm struggling with this concept too. I've read the threads and I think it made me even more confused.
    I don't know how to tell which I should do more of or keep them even or what?
    For example, I was having sex with my gf this morning and I noticed I was reaching the PONR so I started kegeling, this made me want to ejaculate even more. So I pulled out and held one strong kegel and prevented it. So what does that mean? I haven't tried the reverse one during sex, and I'm not even sure if I do those right..

    If you don't mind, can you elaborate on this concept?

    Kegels can bring the PONR closer, but when perfectly timed (right before the PONR) and properly held it can prevent ejaculation, while you still have your orgasm, that is called a dry orgasm, after which you will still be able to keep going and have more until you decide its enough and you ejaculate.

    BUT DOs and MMOs are advanced, and require a very well balanced and strong pelvic floor in addition to perfect timing, which comes from knowing your body's reactions very well, Kegels and Reverse kegels got the first part, if you have a balanced routine (away from intercourse/edging) after a few weeks/months your pelvic floor will be in a good shape, as for the second part, I recommend Edging.

    During edging, and especially as a beginner, you begin by the start and stop technique, and you can also perform a reverse kegel when you feel the PONR approaching thus avoiding it, and over a period of time, you will begin to precisely know whats going on, and when exactly the PONR is so you can hold that strong kegel while it comes, and have MMOs and DOs, so it is a matter of taking it one step at a time.

    But at first, I advise you to only focus on Pelvic Floor balance and strength, and the basics of edging, and don't worry about the DOs for now, their time will come, later on. Its like conditioning for a more advanced exercise.

    Yes, I meant that with proper training, you can achieve multiple orgasms without losing your erection. But training is important here, and practice takes time.

    Kegels add mostly bloodflow and will make your erection quality better.

    They will make your pc muscles stronger and with strong pc muscles you can last longer during sex.

    Reverse kegels are for relaxing tense pc muscles so you will need to do reverse kegels also.

    Premature ejaculation happens due to the bad habit of clenching the anus muscles again and again during sex or masturbation. Most often it happens involuntarily or unconsciously. It simply increases the arousal and makes you ejaculate. To reverse this habit, you need to do opposite of clenching the anus. You simply need to relax or deflate the anus again and again. This is done through reverse kegals and deep breathing.

    When guys start doing "regular kegals", in fact they clench their anus muscles again and again, and end up reinforcing the same bad habit which accelerates ejaculation. This version of regular kegal is called "root lock" and I think it should be avoided.

    If you can do kegal without clenching the anus, then it is fine. Simply take a deep breath and push it down like a reverse kegal and then transition it to a regular kegal. With little practice, you will be able to do the kegal without clenching the anus.
