    Let me thank PEGym family for the support I have so far received from everyone. First of all let me make it known that I have been an addict of Porn and masturbation for 15 years. I didn’t know the effect this was going to have in my sexual performance, and now I know because of what happened to me a few months ago.
    While watching porn in the internet, I bumped onto a story about how PE occurs and what causes it and how hard it is to reverse it and what a damaging effect it has to one sexual strength. This is where my fears begun because I had been for sometime suffering from PE but I just couldn’t figure out what it really was until I read about this.

    After the revelation, it became even worse because it had gotten into my mind now and coupled with the fear that comes with it. I lost confidence; I became anxious and just with a few strokes while doing sex I was ejaculating. Next thing my relationship with my girl ended because she felt I couldn’t satisfy her the way she wanted.

    The breakup made me come to terms with the fact that this was a serious thing that I needed to do something about or else I will be ruined forever. I needed to fix this like yesterday but I could not find how to do it. I even tried seeking advice from my close friend without revealing my addiction part of the story. He only encouraged me saying that this was a normal thing to men and soon I will be ok. I began doing searches from the internet for a solution to this. I got the pills, herbs, sprays and so many other theories, I even planned to see a doctor for advice.

    Last week while still searching in the internet I bumped on this forum. The stories I have read about the journey some guys have walked to solve this problem is amazing and I felt so encouraged. Next thing , I started trying out some of them like edging which I have just finished doing my DAY 5 this morning.

    In those few days, I have learnt how the combination of taking DEEP BREATHS and MUSCLE RELAXATION can make one take charge of when to orgasm. I reached PORN after Edging for 38 minute this morning. I now feel a little more confident than I was one week ago. But I think I need to combine this with Pelvic Floor Exercises to gain muscular control and Minuteman’s Pelvic Floor routine is the thing but my problem for now is that I still can’t figure out which is which between K, RK and the ROOT LOCKS. If I can get this right then combined with edging, I should be on my path to success. What I want to focus on now is my day to day workouts which with time will translate into improvement.
    I welcome any advice and support from all.

    A root lock is another name for a back kegel.

      Here you can read the description of the most terms used in this forum. As for the isolation, in the beginning you will probably do both kegel and root lock and the same time (and reverse kegel and reverse root lock as well) as you do those exercises you will at first notice the slight difference, focus on that difference and in time you will be able to isolate them with little or no problem.

        Thanks Pegasus and Minuteman. Will check the FAQ to familiarise myself. I can feel some pain in my balls today but i guess this is due to some buit-up fluid which i need to release during my next Edging routine.

              Yeah men, this thing is a war we must win. After 5 days of Edging i wanted to orgasm today, just to let out the fluids that have built up over the days but to my surprise i woke up wet. I had a wet dream and because i was to travel this early morning, i didnt do the routine but i decided to do it next day. So far i feel a little more confident with myself since i am learning to master the breathing.

                Hey guys, its been a while, i haven't been able to do some of my routines for a few weeks now since i have been on leave and went visiting so my privacy was a little interfered with couldn't do routines like EDGING. I resumed this morning and later chanced on a girl who i wanted to try just to see if there was anything to smile about with regards to my PE problem. When i did Edge, PONR came after 33 minutes so as i was chilling around with this girl, i said to myself that i would ensure i dont forget 3 things. Control my BREATHING, RELAX PELVIC MUSCLES and REVERSE KEGEL immediately i feel the sensation come. I even changed sex position to ensure that i am in control but just when i entered her, i started feeling the sensation (arousal) immediately. With only 3 strokes, i ejaculated.

                This kinda surprised me because i thought i had gained a few skills to prolong me even if it is for 2 minutes but it was never so. I wanted to try a second time but due to the anxiety my dick took almost an hour to get hard again and when tried a second time, i lasted just about 1 minute.
                This is not very good news but i have promised myself that i wont give up, i want to resume the routine in a consistent manner and i hope things will one day improve.

                Words of encouragement are welcome plus any other suggestion or criticism.

                  Well you have the right mindset, that's only going to help.

                  Also, if you rushed masturbation in the past you may have trained yourself to ejaculate quickly. If you can edge for a long time, but then still struggle when it comes to sex, then you probably need to change something up with your edging. If you read through the link in my signature "edging for premature ejaculation" it goes through explaining how to edge in order to find you lost plateau phase, which makes edging feel much more like the real thing than simply stroking up and down with little/no feeling. The idea is that if you can get into the phase when edging, you should stay being able to get there with sex, and the plateau phase is both enjoyable and controllable at the same time.

                    Performance anxiety.

                    Forget this website or your training and pe even existed. When you go in for a bang clear your mind and just enjoy the ride instead of making a checklist in your head and thinking about what to do. Be in the moment and focus on her and enjoy the sex. Don't think about your dick and what it's feeling and if you're doing things a certain way.

                    This is easier said than done but it is the only way you're going to overcome the issue.

                    My first encounter after training I was back to my old self, a sex machine. And I was able to pull it off because I didn't give a shit about the problem. I just subconsciously breathed and took control of the situation and didn't make myself feel underpowered. Sometimes it's little things like this that will cure the problem

                      Yeah i did rush masturbation alot in the past, you know....like you will be caught if you delay. Perhaps i need to read between the lines of "edging for premature ejaculation" once again to really rediscover this plateau stage when edging. Am so encouraged. Thanks.

                        This is the biggest problem but i believe it will end. Hahahaha ok, ok i agree with what you said about memorizing the checklist but the 'checklist' also has the thing i must train to do like controlling how i breath or else i find myself racing to orgasm......i dont know.

                          Hey guys, am still on my edging exercises and despite some challenges, i am not giving up. I just have a few questions to ask you,

                          1.Being a beginner can i supplement EDGING with K/RK exercises and what should be the routine?

                          2. Barbara Keesling's "How to Make Love All Night"
                          I just finished reading the book, whose link i got from this forum. Most of the training on PC muscle sound to me almost the same as the k and rk exercises for people with Premature ejaculation problem. My question now is, can people with PE problem use the exercises in this book as a way of training to gain control of their ejaculation and arousal since the book also has pretty much info about how to control arousal and without necessarily focusing on on Multiple orgasm which will come later when proper foundation is in place?

                            It is advisable to have a routine alongside edging. For people with Pre E, it is usually best to do more Reverse kegels than kegels, because tension seems to be an issue often. You can also look into alternative methods such as penis stretches and pelvic floor yoga.

                            MMO can be used as a way to overcome Pre E. I should think the exercises are more for strength (kegels) so this might cause a problem is you already have a tense pelvic floor and don't balance it with enough reverse kegels.

                              Ammonite, point taken. Should the Ks/RKs like how many and possibly in what intervals?

                              For MMO, this will have to wait, i have more important thing to deal with now and that the PE.

                              I always appreciate the efforts you make to assist many like me.
