I have been thinking on the root causes of pelvic floor spasm .
Certainly some people hold tension in their pelvic floor in the same way I do my shoulders ,in effect a bad habit. In some cases prolonged sex or kegel cause an acute injury ,or tension can build over time .
I want to look at 2 other causes though, in the western world it is common not to stretch the pelvic area . Our ancestors and indeed asians, tend to stretch this region far more doing things like going to the toilet and general life movements. Some authors onsite have adressed this (notably MarcusHa) through yoga style stretching and it seems very effective. Another effective stretch is deep squat in various forms.
Another issue can be muscle imbalance ,in some cases the glutes or other pelvic muscles can become weak as suggested here. Stop Doing Kegels: Real Pelvic Floor Advice For Women (and Men) | Breaking Muscle Again the answer is yoga poses and especially squats .
In some cases the pelvis may become misaligned triggering pelvic spasm ,the treatment for this lies more in the area of a physio or the like.

I have been practicing deep squats of late and definitely feel fatigue in the pelvic floor area afterwards.
However, involuntary kegel spasms are very rare for me now (only occur while getting an erection and at PONR) so unfortunately I cannot comment on the effect deep squats will have in reducing these.
I think deep squat should be advertised more though in treating Pre E, they are by far the best stretch I have done to concentrate the effect in the pelvic floor area.

Constant sitting (as opposed to the more "natural" squatting) is a contributing factor. Even the way many toilets are set up- where you sit instead of squat. Squatting allows gravity to assist with elimination and it prevents the binding effect that comes from sitting with your legs above parallel.
If one kegels with maximum contractions (without the proper development to back it up), that can truly cause serious problems. That can be compounded if said kegeling is done indiscriminately throughout the day- with no structure behind it. Hundreds or even thousands of maximum strength PC contractions can easily contribute to already persistent pelvic floor problems. .Want One FREE Month of Coaching? I have a super tight pelvic floor. My chiropractor said I have a frozen pelvis and all my muscles are fighting each other. My lower back and hip flexors are sore almost every day. So I'm going to try squatting like this when I feel really tight. Its actually funny I came across this as something happened before I saw this.
I used to live in Japan, so squatting when your legs get tired to relax is very common over there and I know what you guys are talking about. At work my lower back and hips were really sore and stretching didn't seem to help. so I decided to try to stretch out my groin by squatting like tis and placing my elbows inside my knees and pushing out. Well as I squatted down I got like 3 pops, one in my lower back and what felt like both my hips. I stayed in that position for a while kinda rocking side to side just relaxing. It seemed to take a lot of pressure off my lower back and pelvic region. After about 3-4 minutes of just chilling like this I felt great. The pain in my back and hip flexors was almost non existent. Which would back this theory up of squatting like this to relax.
Now on to my problems. I have a super tight pelvic floor. I am always clenching my pc/bc muscles like I have to pee and poo. I have to consciously get myself to relax. even when I don't have to go to the bathroom its like I'm holding it in. It's not like a full kegal but more so a light constant hold that doesn't want to relax. I'm always clenching and when I am moving it clenches tighter. I know you don't want to be too relaxed when doing strenuous stuff as you could injure yourself, but just turning around or even using a spray bottle gets my pc and bc muscles to conract. Also after the bathroom they seem to want to tighten the most. or say after keeping them relaxed for a while or reverse kegals they seem to want to tighten even more. They are tight all the time.lol I don't know if I'm explaining this good enough.
I also get involuntary spasms all the time. Not just when masturbating or sex but all the time, aroused or not. If I have any kind of sexual thoughts I get a few spasms. If my pants rub my penis the wrong or right way I get spasms. Just having the laptop on my lap writing this has caused some spasms. Seeing a friend post a sexy pic on fb causes spasms. Some are lighter than others but none the less I cannot control them. If I am aroused with a girl but know nothing is going to happen I spasms a lot and start to precum all over the place. I even will get precum just from hearing a girl i'm interested in voice. And you guessed it I spasm. Sometimes I will be having a conversation with the operator of the machine I work on and the spasms just start out of nowhere. The spasms are like front kegals only.
Now on to my precum. I precum way too much. By that I mean just cuddling with a girl will get me soaked all the way through my pants. Holding hand or even talking on the phone gets me to start "leaking". I don't mind precum in the bedroom when things get intense but mine is out of control. If I get a sexy text from a girl it just starts coming out and wont stop. I usually have to change my boxers and pants a few times when watching a movie and then cuddling after. I know precum is normal but the extent that I have it is ridiculous. I have bad anxiety when it comes to this and I know that just causes me to precum more due to the tenseness of anxiety. There was one time it was under control though. And that's when I was on muscle relaxers for a pulled muscle that wouldn't heal. After about 3 weeks on them I wouldn't start to precum till I had an erction and was getting close to sex if not already having it. And by getting close to sex I mean fooling around and foreplay had already happened.
I am 100% convinced there is a link to how tense my pc and bc muscles are all the time and the amount of my involuntary spasms to how much I precum and sometimes can't last long. But I've usually been able to last long enough to satisfy all my girls. The reason for sharing all this was I am trying to find a routine that will help me relax down there and train my subconscious to keep me relaxed down there and to eliminate involuntary kegals unless I'm having sex. I also could be of use to help you test this theory because I have such tenseness and so many involuntary spasms. But regardless I need to fix this issue. I just need to know what to do.BPEL: 5.25,5.5,5.75,6.0,6.25,6.5,6.75,7.0,7.25,7.5,7.75,8.0"+

I have been procrastinating starting to jog and weight lift again. Has anyone seen improvements in how tense you are or stamina by just improving general physical fitness?

Ok stf, these links are often noted and you are fortunate not to have pre e or ed.
Now re causes and treatment.
You state you have a habit of tense this area . Anxiety may contribute.
Lack of stretching may be an issue, squating and yoga may help with this.
Your chiro says your muscles are fighting each other, the question is why? Muscle imbalance is a possibility and muscle development through squats ,yoga etc may help with this .
Reverse kegels and masssage may help.
Other causes of misaligment/spasm may be the provence of a chiro/physio.

Im sure its an imbalance from over masturbation. And also just just bad habits like holding stress down there like most do in there shoulders.

Many guys do kegels to approach ponr, many guys pull in other muscles to assist the kegels ,this can include legs ,bum and abs. It may benifit to try taking the assist out.
This is something I would...
Reducing precum; Condom slippage...
