    hi all- i suffer from PE and it is getting me down bigtime- i have to be honest here and say that if i enter a woman(wife) hard and thrust fast i will come in about 10-30 seconds. i usually have to stop after a few seconds(and hear her complain) then wait and enter again, and just hope she is orgasming soon, otherwise its a disaster. ive stopped smoking recently and thought that might help but no luck- i have heard about kegel exercises, and i want to know that you tighten the muscles for practice, but when you are coming to a plateau during sex, do you A- tighten them or relax them? i am not too keen on any mechanical device, i have used those condoms but it doesnt work- the only thing that has worked for me is straught in when i am just hard and hope for the best-if i wait for after foreplay and enter her it is over in seconds- i woudl love to last a minute but the truth is that i cant- hope others identify with this- look forward to your replies

    I recommend balancing your pelvic floor with regular and reverse kegels, and start practicing edging to familiarize yourself with how your body responds to sexual stimulation and gain more control over your ejaculation.

    Hello kiii and welcome.

    Just to let you know I had the same exact issue as you and I think I have finally beat it. I have been edging and ballooning as well as Kegel and reverse kegel for two months now. I know longer feel the urge to come till about 10 minutes and then I can control with setting the pace or changing position as well as deep breathes and kegels. So far since I started, I have intercourse with my wife with much longer lasting sessions and no anxiety about cumming too fast. I feel it was from years of rushed masturbation as well as porn. I did quit porn 5 years ago but it still took it's effect. I can't say it will work for you but I know it helped me.

    Good luck and read as much as you can and find out what works for you.

    Yes, there are others here who can relate, and have varying degrees of PreE. You are not alone.

    Give it some time, and follow the advice and links above. With some patience, and dedication, you can overcome your challenge.

    If you think it may help, talk with your wife, let her know what you're doing, and that you have both of your sexual happiness in mind. It may not seem like much, but it may free up some pressure on you, and allow your wife to give you support once she knows.

    There are many possible reasons why men ejaculate quickly. The guys have given you some great tips already and I just want to mention something that may be helpful.

    Neurological findings have discovered that there is one thing premature ejaculators have in common. When men who can control ejaculation get an erection, their heart rates speed up at first and then slow down. For men with difficulty controlling ejaculation, their heart rate speeds up once they get an erection and stay elevated. This means that the nervous system of the man who is quick to ejaculate stays dominated by the sympathetic nervous system (SNS), the part of the nervous system that signifies ejaculation. When men who control ejaculation get an erection, their heart rates slow down and their arousal becomes dominated by the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS), which means they relax. Only when they are ready to ejaculate do they start to rev up again and the SNS takes over.

    Essentially, what this all means is that to stay up, you have to calm down. And deep, slow breaths can certainly assist with that.
