Thread: Double edge. Opinions?

So with today being my rest day I decided to try something new last night after my JP90.
After reading James Monroe PremE log where he strongly emphasises going multiple rounds during intercourse and having more intense and arousing sex in round 2 and so on to increase stamina and adapt to more intense situations. Even though the penis is less sensitive in this situation I can see how this could result in improving round 1 performance in time.
Anyway so I decided in advance I was going to double edge. I edged for 20 minutes dry with death grip controlling my arousal levels before I allowed my self to ejaculated my first load. I then continued edging with lube dropping back to about 80% EQ focusing heavily on hitting all my arousal triggers I was back to 100% in 3-5 minutes.
So I continued to focus on my arousal triggers and it was a great experience. I was able to feel all the amazing serial stimulation of what I was doing but not have the urge to cum and cut it short. This is how sexual stimulation should be. Erotic and fun with the control to experience those feelings as much as you desire. I didn't have to control my arousal as I was able to truly experience but not become overwhelmed with the need to ejaculated.
I also noticed my pelvic floor was much more relaxed during the second round which made all the difference. I'll definitely be starting to give my reverse kegals routine much more attention from now on (I often skip it).
Anyway my second ended after half an hour I chose not to ejaculate as my pelvic floor was relaxed and I felt I that I could keep going. I could of kegaled hard to force it but I chose not to as I thought it could be detrimental to force ejaculation when I don't need to.
Anyway just thought I'd put my experience up here and see what others think of this edging technique and gather some opinions from senior PE'ers.
I'd also just like to point out I think this technique could have an added bonus for training ones refractory period to respond more quickly to ejaculation over time.

Isn't it great that we have a range of pre e authors here and a range of options. I often think the training methods reflect the personality of the author.

Could well have many positives, shorter refractory time as you mentioned and also allowing a better edging experience for those who struggle with the first round.
Only thing I would caution is that you make sure you don't rush the first round, so that you can get onto the second quickly if trying this technique. It's well known that this rush to get the to the PONR quickly can in fact cause pre e in the first place. So if going for a "double edge" make sure the first round is as good as you can do, like the 20 minutes mentioned in the OP.
I often find that I physically can't orgasm the second time, so therefore the pressure of trying to last would be off in this situation. Focusing too much on orgasm is often a trait of premature ejaculators, so this technique could help people in this situation.

I have a question. Was your refractory period 3-5 min or did you do your second session at a later time?

I kept going straight after my first ejaculations trying to maintain erection the whole time. I only dropped to 80% EQ and it took 3-5 mins to regain full EQ. I have been doing this after I ejaculate for a while now (keep masterbating until I regain an erection) then stopping without the added edging session. I would just stop once I was satisfied my erection was back.
Some will say you can't train your refractory period but I've seen definite improvement. I decided to start doing it after not being able to get it up for a second round of intercourse for half an hour.
When I started doing this I could only get to 70-80% EQ in 20+ minutes. You can see how much I've improved now. Last time I had sex was 3 weeks ago and it only took 5 minutes to get going again so I've seen dramatic improvement there too.

Was arousal still high the second time? I can start up again within 5 minutes aswel but my arousal is never near enough to go again until at least an hour, even then it's not where i'd want it to be.

My arousal starts low but builds after 10 minutes or so. Once my Ex is back I apply fresh lubricant and focus heavily on stimulating my glans and most sensitive spots. I basically do things that would normally rush me to the PONR whilst my sensitivity and arousal is decreased and I can withstand them due having already ejaculated in.
My theory is I'm hoping that doing this will eventually transfer to improvement in resisting the same kind of stimulation during round 1 in the future.
