Thread: Trying to stop IK's

I've been doing some stretches and RK workouts lately to stop involuntary kegels. Obviously, since I'm only a few days in, I'm still feeling the IKs throughout the day. I think my main problem is that any time something touches the head of my penis, I get an involuntary kegel.
I'm trying to stop kegeling after I'm done peeing. This is king of difficult at the moment because I don't feel like I have all the pee out if I don't kegel quick at the end to push the rest out. And even if I make a big effort to not kegel, my butthole stays open which is kind of annoying (until I try to relax or close it, then I involuntarily kegel anyway). Also, if I get away with not kegeling, as soon as I pull my pants up, it happens anyway and the rest of the pee usually drips in my pants.
So, how are you guys approaching this?

Some concious kegel are not a great problem , keep training.
Are you doing deep squats?

So do a concious kegel, if you are doing a rk weighted routine it shouldn't matter.

If you really want to remove the kegel after peeing you can try and alternative method which you can use whilst trying to achieve this goal. All you have to do is push on the perineum area (between anus and balls) when you are finished, and this will expel the remaining urine. Also, use a milking type motion on your penis and this should also get rid of any excess. Whether this helps with pre e is another matter.
For the IK which happens when you touch the penis head, keep up an RK weighted routine and also look into James. Monroe's work on ballooning of sensitive spots as this removes the involuntary response. There are also some posts on this in my edging for premature ejaculation thread.

You may find the post in my signature helpful too. Personally, I wouldn't "worry" about kegels and the bathroom. Oddly or as is to be expected, I too have paid attention to pee time kegels. In my case, I don't and would simply not worry about the intentional kegels I ~use~ to expel urine as they are by choice, so I'm all good with that. But I notice if I scratch my ass while I'm peeing, an IK clenches up and stops my peeing! Since I've noticed that I've been desensitizing myself to that response, and have seem some improvements there :-p
