    I have started edging now for about a week or so and it appears to be going well. I just had sex with my wife tonight and I was able to last a lot longer than even a week ago. However, I noticed that when I got close to the PONR I was able to pull out and kegel to get it to pass. After that, I was able to go a lot, lot longer. However, I am finding that I am not staying as hard as I was initially. Is that normal?

    For the time being, I recommend sticking to the basic start/stop technique, before you reach the PONR stop stimulation or slow down considerably until the urge to ejaculate subsides then continue, after some time, you will be able to perform a reverse kegel long before the PONR and that will push it back for a while.

    Later on, and after you have conditioned your pelvic floor muscles with a kegels (regular and reverse) routine, and have more edging experience, you may start training for MMO/DO if you wish, but do not try that now so you do not hurt yourself.
