This has come up lately as it does from time to time.
So what to conclude from it? :)
Currently I am edging with death grip, but I am focusing on doing reverse kegels while doing so. Do you think that being able to hold a strong regular kegel while doing death grip is better? If one can last long doing a regular kegel, then one should last longer in bed with a woman, since the stimulation is not as intense?
Currently I find my self being able to edge for an hour with death grip, and I have seen improvements when I am having sex with my girlfriend, but I still fight to be able to thrust hard and fast for just 3 minutes.
I notice that while I am edging solo I do not really get IKs or tense up, however when I add sound porn I do tense up and feel the same excitement as in sex. I think I might practicing a bit more reverse kegel edging, but now with sound porn added in order to simulate the excitement I have doing real sex, where I fight the IKs.
Your question Jan is not really suited to this thread as it is on pre e. It does seem an arousal issue though an out of sex rk weighted routine may still help.

I started with preE, but have had DE a handful of times since fixing my preE. In each of those DE times, the pattern for me was:
1. I tried to keep my arousal level very low during foreplay. At the start of intercourse, I did not have an erection. So, it required some work to get the erection going before insertion.
2. My pelvic floor was extremely loose from a lot of stretching in the couple days prior to sex. RKs felt very expansive and effective.
3. During sex, it almost felt like I was relaxing too much. I'd plateau at a fairly low level of arousal (maybe a 4 or 5). Usually, my EQ would come up to a good level (8 or 9), but the lack of pelvic floor tightness and the very relaxed mind made the intensity of feeling low.
4. I would then try to tighten everything up (pelvic floor muscles through kegeling and core muscles as well), but mentally it felt like I couldn't ramp the arousal up. It felt like I had missed the window of opportunity. The train had left the stations, and I wasn't on it.
Having had preE for so long, I would definitely rather have a DE sexual experience over a preE one. If my erection is good, then my wife has 1 or 2 orgasms. Even though I don't ejaculate, the physical feeling of the experience is still great. But, if I had DE every time I had sex, then I think that would start to bother me.
I have had DE basically my whole sex life and I am still having trouble over coming it. I am 22 now. I lost my virginity pretty young at 15, and I could hold a strong erection the whole time but could not feel a thing. Did not orgasm. This happened my first probably 5 sexual encounters before I finally had an orgasm with a woman but it still took some time. My reasoning is a lack of sensitivity due to poor masturbation habits when I was younger (prone) however, since learning correct masturbation it has gotten better. My DE is caused by a lack of sensitivity which at this point I believe to be more of a mental issue. Like you peg I do have some anxiety. A lot of the times during sex if I really hold a strong Kegel the sensitivity increases a ton and I am able to ejaculate.
There also has been a handful of times where I could have sex effortlessly and orgasm fairly quick too. However that has been rare. Recently I have been practicing very very light masturbation using one finger as a technique I found elsewhere. Coupled without porn of course. Hoping this will help as I continue to progress.
