  • How long should one edge for?

    I ask because I was edging for over 50 minutes (50:02:30). Stopping when I felt I was about to come, as well as stop the timer too to recuperate & because I felt like that my stopping shouldn't count. I reached it about three time then deciding to just let it go & got out some pictures from Hentai-Foundary & Fakku & just let it out.

    So my question is that how long should I be edging for as a beginner, as don't want to over do it.

    About 20 minutes up to three nonconsecutive times a week according to your PIs.


    Try not to tie ejaculation to porn, so you do not negatively condition yourself.

      Beginner usually edge for 20mins then up the time by 5 mins every week.. Are you really new to PE because you should not over train yourself though. How's your PI's after this session?
      Set short goals, take it slow.

          Well not really, just getting back into it, but haven't really edged before. Masturbated & stopped equaling to 30 minutes, done a lot of kegels, 60 1 secs & 20 5 sec in the morning & do the same in the afternoon & testicle messaging before bed is what I have been doing so far.

          I don't know about PIs, my dick looks red & is also itchy as well. so what does that mean?

            If your edging for 50 mins i'd say keep going, beginner or not you can reach that time so no point in cutting it by 30 mins. Red and itchy? Are you doing pe aswel?

              Yeah, though the thing was that I did have more privacy & sadly can't get that amount of time to myself every day. & Outside from doing 60 1 second Kegels,, 20 5 second Kegels in the morning & afternoon & Testicle massages, not really.

                I would have thought that would occur from jelqing, hanging or other pe exercises.
                So maybe if it persists get it checked. You do regular kegels. How are they affecting your time during edging/ sex?

                  I think I will if it continues. Well I think it haloes as edging I can last for a long time when I edge with my hand, heck my hand get's exhausted before I can get to a PONR, heck I have to speed it up to get to the PONR so I can able to do it three times before climaxing.

                    Thats good, if this is the case then i doubt seriously that your pre e is caused physically. Especially with the fact your doing kegels and are still able to go for long periods of time before reaching ponr, this suggests it's an arousal or anxiety issue, or both.

                      Well tester day, doing Edging 4 days straight, I was having problems getting it fully erected, so I cheated & used porn to get it erected & I was masturbating to it, but trying to edge as well I was able to last for 40 minutes, but was going into PONR a lot faster than not doing it with porn.

                      I think I have an issue of not being good in bed.

                        With porn of course you reach ponr quicker because your aroused. But 40 mins, is good, it would suggest it's arousal or anxiety related, however keep in mind that edging with your hand is completely different to sex. The feel, tightness, constant stimulation of entire penis. Also how your body acts, thrusting, different positions, physical exhaustion ( if your not that fit). Maybe take edging up a gear, tighter grip, lube, stimlating most sensitive spots, adopting harder positions and thrusting. See if theres a difference.

                          And also, something minuteman brought to my attention before, sex engages the senses alot more. Your own touch may barely affect you, a woman could send you over the edge with a light stroke. You touching her, hearing her groan etc. All play a part.

                            Remember to edge into your plateau. I spent 2 years without doing this, and it didn't help me with sex what-so-ever. You must edge into your plateau so you get used to experiencing actual pleasure.
