Since I can remember I have a shy-bladder. Maybe some of you don't know about it, but it is simply not being able too pee when others are around. So when I am in a public toilet I am unable to pee (most of the times I still try) and have to go to a private toilet. So lately I am busy with beating pre E and why not try to learn more about the shy bladder aswell.
So today I tried searching for information about it. Seems I am not the only one and the primary factor is stress which tenses the pelvic floor making you unable to pee. A question coming in my mind is hmm.. tensing the pelvic floor now that sounds familiar. Wouldn't be surprised if a bigger percentage of people with pre E have to deal with this? Leave your comment below really wondering!
After I searched for information about it I found a possible solution aswell. Seems that if you hold your breath long enough after you breathe out for 75% the pelvic floor will automaticly relax and make you able to pee. This can solve the stress of not being able to pee, because you have a way out if it doesn't work. Forgot to say that I can pee when I am tipsy/drunk so it is because of stress I suppose.
Lastly in my progression thread I speak of having the habit to permanently kegel when I edge. So far reverse kegels didn't solve this yet (just started two weeks ago) but this is fine. What I did think of was the fact that you are forced to let go of the tension in the pelvic floor if you hold your breath. Untill now I wasn't able to not permanently kegel when edge/masturbate but maybe I can give it a little experiment with trying to relax the pelvic floor that way. Of course I know that breathing is very important when edging, but the kegel seems like a reflex in my brain so who knows if I can untrain the reflex that way? Let me know your thoughts! I will leave my findings here as I progress.
