Many guys find it hard to get the feel of reverse kegel (rk).
I had the opposite problem I could do them fine for many years but then had to explain them to others .
So it seemed to me kegel (k) is a pull of the pelvic floor muscles and rk is a push simple huh. then it was pointed out to me that muscles don't push they only pull.
This confused me so what was I actually doing ,hmm perhaps it was a different set of muscles ? I looked at the eastern stuff but it was all mystic yin /yang , chakras energy flow, nothing about the actual muscles used . My research revealed that kegel is a pull, but reverse kegel is a relax of the same muscles the push is caused by increased abdominal pressure acting on the relaxed pelvic floor muscles . This pressure is created by the diaphragm . The balance of k to rk is the balance between tension (k) and relaxation (rk) not between different muscles (in this case) . But hey if you want to think in terms of yin /yang that is fine.
Now whatever works for you if it helps to think in terms of the same muscle pushing instead of pulling or separate muscles or k being yang and rk yin that's ok. Or you may want to think in terms of k stop piss ;rk start piss

To stay midway between spirituality and physical facts, I also recommend to visualize the direction of the push. Try to push your pelvic floor straight out - down, straight down , straight out backwards, and try to push in the same directions focusing on the base of your penis.
We've already discussed this, but I still have a hard time believing one could injure himself with such a push (apart from lowered erection hardness).
Also slowly turning a kegel into a reverse kegel back into a kegel should, overtime, help understand what happens.https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...a-jelqing.html

Yes P it is more difficult to injure yourself with rk than k. However people can hurt themselves with too much stretching . Proper conditioning will prevent injuries.

Straight out backwards end up being back kegels / root locks right? Mostly felt near and around the anus ?
Are you sure the other ones really involve the ic muscles as much as it was suggested? Are they the muscles which surround the base?
I need to work a bit more on this stuff.https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-e...a-jelqing.html

Funny enough I am feeling the back kegel a bit different depending on if I push backwards or down .
An ic kegel is a further isolation of a front kegel and involves the muscle above the penis . Some guys had interest in this awhile back but don't seem to have continued with it.

My development with rk has become more prominent, when I push out hard, now my entire pf ( front and back) Pushes down as you described. Remains like that for a few seconds like a wave.

So, if you work on your breathing and train yourself to breathe more deeply (yoga breathing techniques can help a lot with this as well as cardiovascular exercise that gets up to 70% max heart rate) you can better perform rks due to a stronger diaphragm? Just thinking about it. I do breathing exercises as a part of my outdoor exercise routine so maybe helped me pick up rks easily.

Yes Lln it's good that your feel has increased .
So you are getting good feel front and back and able to split them ? I know many guys will try and enguage the whole pelvic floor only to find the front easy to do but the back difficult or visa versa.

I can isolate front from back but it takes effort, and with every rep isolationis is harder.
Isolation from abs is near perfect, breathin generally not affected unless im physically tired. The push "down feeling on the pf is amazing, its not just relaxing pf but pushing out the rk fairly hard but not strained and a rush waves over the body. First the pf then the harder you go ( fucking/ sex) it spreads out, all over.A Game of Bones. A Stretch With Rice And Fire.
