    So hey guys, I haven't been very active here since this winter when I was posting and asking for some advice on kegeling since I was starting out an exercise regime but I've been reading stuff on here for years and I've been waiting to write my own success story for 3-4 years or so!

    So something has happened and there is a massive change in how I achieve orgasm now, used to be I would be incredibly quick and I've actually never lasted for more than 10-20 seconds with a woman my whole life (unless I'm drunk and use anasthetics which is what my sex-life used to look like before). I had my debut when I was 19 and I'm 25 now. Been with about 19 girls but I last for 5-10 minutes with anasthetics (which I apply in secret while "taking a pee" in the bathroom) combined with alcohol so I don't have a reputation of being the fastest shooter in the west. The day after I only last for a few thrusts just like normal though since I'm sober. Just this New Years', I was with a girl and lasted maybe 4-5 thrusts even with anasthetics which made her kind of laugh at me (I also have to use a condom, apparently, or I last ten seconds as usual). But now, something has happened and I can go for wayyyy longer though I've only tried with myself so far. But something HAS changed.

    I've been doing regular kegels daily since about November 2014. And not even that many, just 100 a day with ten that I hold for ten seconds or so. I noticed results just a few weeks in and kind of stopped because I'm a bit lazy and undisciplined so I kind of went back to normal and had that really short sex around New Years'.

    After that, I tried doing only RKs since people on here said that was good but I don't think it did anything for me because I was back to normal there for a while. Although I think it may have loosened up my Pelvic floor which was probably really tight. But after that, I was back to regular kegels only and also edging which I've been doing for a few months now. Though I haven't had the most disciplined training regimen to put it mildly...

    I've had a horrible ache in my lower back for a year and a half now and I went to see a chiropractor for it this june and after about four sessions I was finished. The ache has gradually subsided throughout the summer and I can now sit up for longer periods without being in pain. I also smoked weed every other day or so for about two weeks in July when I had my family house to myself.

    To be honest, I'm not even sure what did it but now, I can last for about as long as I want when I'm with myself! Something has seriously happened and I'm not sure if it's the chiropractor treatment, the edging (I've been very undisciplined with that), the kegels or the weed but masturbation and orgasm feels ENTIRELY different now from what it used to! I even relapsed to porn quite a lot, almost every day, when I was smoking weed this summer but even then, I can last for wayyyy longer! If I slow down as I start nearing the PONR, I can go for even longer since the feeling of wanting to ejaculate subsides, something that I could NEVER do before!


    I think it has to do with this:
    Premature ejaculators are completely focused on the orgasm and the PONR. To them, orgasming is the only pleasure there is to sex and when they read that they should "focus on the pleasure rather than ejaculation and then they won't come" they focus on the pleasure they get from when they're about to ejaculate because that is the ONLY pleasure that they get from sex. Of course, it doesn't help one bit since they're just hovering around the PONR-zone and that won't delay ejaculation.

    What one should do is focus on the Plateau Phase BEFORE the PONR. Initially, us premature ejaculators don't even feel anything at that point so we rush to the PONR to feel some pleasure when masturbating and then we just hang around there going near the edge and then resting. Then going near the edge again, then resting. And yet again...

    When I edged, I focused only on the plateau phase even though I didn't feel anything initially. When I edged, I thought "plateau phase, plateau phase, plateau phase..." to myself constantly. I focused intently on trying to feel something there and then I stopped before the PONR and now I'm seeing results Thanks to the kegels, my erections are completely different. They are less "stiff" and it feels like it's coming more from the muscles at the root than just blood pumping through it. A lot less IKs too, there's barely any at all! At first, I thought I had an ED because it's harder to get an erection but now an erection is more like a result of me getting excited rather than me just feeling like ejaculating. And the orgasms are nothing like I've ever experienced thanks to the kegels!

    Right now, I'm not even edging anymore! I just last longer and longer every time I masturbate so I just focus on drawing out the plateau phase and then I masturbate non-stop for ten minutes or so and then orgasm. Focusing on the pleasure I get at the plateau phase REALLY HELPS DELAY EJACULATION, I can't believe it. Because it's a different kind of pleasure and for me, it excludes the other. After a while, I have to make an effort to come and the feeling is nothing like I've ever felt! Because I'm doing so good, I can finally enjoy orgasms rather than feel bad when they happen because they happened so quickly, right now they feel better than ever and I feel better than ever after they happen so I get a sense of reward every time I last so long too! Sometimes I still edge though.


    Next week, I'm moving back to my university town and I'm starting to date a girl that I know has the hots for me and she's a nurse so it's easy to speak openly about my problem to her. We had sex a year ago (before I moved away for a year) and I was able to make her orgasm with my fingers until she was shaking and she said it was incredible and didn't care that I lasted for 15 seconds myself. I lied and said it was because of a pinched nerve in my back and that I now need to edge in order to retrain my nervous system and she's totally on board. Nurses seem to not think too heavily on these things. To be honest, I don't even care if I only last a minute with her, it's more than I've ever lasted before and I can totally make her orgasm by fingering her so I'm completely happy! I'm sure I can last for two minutes after edging with her a bit and maybe more though I don't really care at this point! As long as I feel that great sensation of orgasming after riding the plateau phase for a long time, I'm good!

    So that's my success story, I've yet to try real sex but I'm sure it will be fine and I'm seeing a girl that will let me edge with her so with some practice there, I'm sure things will be okay!

    P.S. Watch No Strings Attached with your girl if you want to make your problem seem cute. Ashton Kutcher lasts for like 30 seconds once and is cute, funny and confident about it and Natalie Portman doesn't even care that it happens so it's a good way of making her think your problem is completely normal!

    Congrats Swedishguy! It is great that you found the solution to that issue.

      I really liked the idea on focus to stay on the platu..

      Not trying to to fix the issue when you get into ponr

      Its like focus not getting into problem then focus on fixing the problem..

        Ok so plateau edging was big for you. I will advise against kegel only routines especially for guys with pre e.

              sounds like the chiropractor did somthing that loosend up your pelvic floor, weed can definatly make you last longer but thats only if you are a heavy smoker daily.

                        This is fascinating. It's possible that something happened to your back/spine during the chiropractor sessions that changed your ejaculatory response. The reason I thought of this is that I remember reading that men with spinal injuries have extreme difficulty ejaculating or cannot at all, so I did a bit of further research and found this

                        Let me know what you think guys. Interesting or not? Any other thoughts regarding the role of the spine in ejaculation/PE?

                        There is also an acupuncture video on youtube about PE, and the acupoints focused on are in the lower back. A further coincidence, or another piece of the puzzle?

                          Yes...spinal injury or defects can affect you in many ways including sexual function. I'm currently waiting on spinal decompression surgery (2 weeks) for a spinal stenosis in my lower back, which is why I spend most of my time sitting on my arse!

                          The consultant surgeon asked me all sorts of questions about sexual functions or lack thereof...including motor functionality and whatnot. It can affect the way you pee, bladder and bowel function, erections and so on.

                            Has the spinal stenosis affected your sexual function? I wish you all the best for your upcoming surgery!

                            Starting to wonder if therapies and exercise systems to improve the condition of the back (Alexander Technique, Pilates, Yoga) could help as part of a more complete strategy to overcome PE. It's already obvious that Yoga does because of its effect on the pelvic floor.
