  • After 3 years Reverse Kegels are still a myth

Yeah, I figured out a hundred ways of helping me get more comfortable with doing sex.

My performance is never awesome, nor good. But I can satisfy myself and my gf, not the way we wanted, but enough to like it and continue doing it after so long. Alcohol helps a lot, it can make it work real good.

Anyway, I simply cant perform good, steady, strong, obvious and conscious rks.

When approaching ponr, there is simply nothing I can do to keep things relaxed. No matter how strong I try to press, the little muscles make my penis pump like crazy and be full with blood. It continues to contract, even if I manage to almost relax it for a fraction of a second.

Its like a continuous growing tension that, after a few seconds on its plateau, cross the PONR line.

I know that we should always stop before that, but... the idea is getting the muscles so relaxed you can even fight PONR as it happens.

    Any considerations?

After a while I abandoned the idea of having a edging routine, cause I never got results from it.

Well, to be 100% sincere about this, it makes a better erection. That seems to be all. Of course there were times when I could continue stroking for 15-20 minutes without reaching ponr, but as soon as I added any sexual component (even imaginary), things would immediately escalate. On rare days I could continue stroking after first ponr, but never for more than a couple minutes (or 5 minutes, at best).

As for a RK routine, I never could actually isolate them and perform it without feeling Id explode at any moment. Anyway, while edging, the tension that builds up down there simply cannot be fought with rk. No matter how much I did it on a daily basis.

Follow minutemans dry orgasm guide point for point.

Reverse kegels arent meant to overcome ponr. They are usefull up to the point of ponr and ik 's. Then you need kegel strength and timing + technique.

Marcus i remember you were doing a routine with having a pillow underneath your back to help stretch the hip flexors but im not sure if that helped improve for you a while back. I also tried reverse kegeling but all that did for me is make me pee more so I stopped doing that. I have you tried purchasing a Fleshlight? I was thinking about purchasing one myself

I'm almost thinking about giving up. I been using alot of Promescent spray for quick fix but that i know is not the root of the fix. I may go back to ballooning again.

Edging works, obviously the arousal of sex / porn is your next step, if you don't watch porn then just use your imagination, if you do it can help solo and then edging with a partner will be the last step.

It took me a long time to realise this, but you shouldn't be pushing hard, especially during sex. The problem is too much tension in pelvic floor, and actively trying to push the muscle out creates more tension, just in different surrounding muscles.
Recently I have made great progress by really learning to relax the pelvic floor and surrounding area. This requires only relaxing.
I recommend spending a long time 30-60 minutes or more practising relaxing your pelvic floor. What I do is lie on my back in a similar position to a woman giving birth. Then using the meditative reverse level technique, focus on relaxing the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles. Just visualise the muscles loosening, relaxing, and 'falling down' away from the prostate. There should be no effort, just try and get into a state of deep relaxation with the focus on visualising your pelvic floor muscles relaxing.

It's also useful to do this when you have an erection. What you're looking for is a state where touching or squeezing your penis doesn't give any pleasurable feeling at all. If your pelvic floor is tense any stimulation will be sending the energy to your prostate which is what causes the pleasurable feeling, IKs and ultimately ejaculation. Don't try to fight but instead find a deeper relaxation.

Think about it, you cannot relax by pressing strongly, as soon as you notice the feeling getting too close just try and relax your hips, lower back, butt hole, all those muscles.

Don't give up, and don't try to push any muscles at all. The key is in the pelvic floor muscles being completely disengaged. I realised that the energy from stimulation can only flow to your prostate through tense muscles.

Please bare in mind I have had severe pre e for 10 years or more, ejaculation upon entry. I still have a long way to go but I think all of us have stored pelvic floor tension to such an extent that we become completely unaware of it, it becomes subconscious and our normal state. Anxiety is stored in tense muscles.
I am at a point now where I can have sex confidentiality, not pounding for an hour but I can control now.
I think the biggest challenge is really understanding how and where the tension is and the focussing on relaxing, not trying to rk but releasing the tension.

I have have tension induced prostatis and I am now seeing the symptoms decrease. For anyone wondering - back pain, post ejaculation pain, uti infections have been my worst symptoms.

You have the same shit as me Marcus, it's mental for us. I did all I could with the exercises, but when porn or sex is introduced..BAM!!! It sucks..I'm personally waiting for a drug in clinical trial phase 2 called ix-01, an oxytocin antagonist that can penetrate the blood brain barrier. The drug is very promising. We will have to wait a few more years..

For some the exercises work, but not for us. It's something with our neurotransmitters. But the drug will hopefully come out any time soon, after October it should start with the clinical phase 3 trial, which can take up from 2 to many years. After that it also has to apply for the FDA approval, which can take up to one year. Then it also has to be marketed..and this all IF the drug passed through all the trials. But it is very promising, since it worked outstanding in rats and this oxytocin antagonist was also on the news.

Birdman what diagnosis do you have to assume that?
If you can move your feet chances are you can move your pelvic floor too
If you do something that doesnt work then do different,
                              25cm! Let's go!
