    Alright so its been a few years now and i finally know enough about myself to understand why i have premature ejaculation.

    I believe my ic muscle is the reason i have such a hard time controlling my pelvic floor. Until now, i couldnt tell the difference between an ic contraction and a pc/bc contraction. In my case, i can activate my IC muscle by doing a slight kegel, but not enough to where i activate my pc/bc. It took me a while to figure this out, and i didnt realize this until i actually started using a homeade device (which ill tell you about in a sec) and pushing down on my pelvic area to see how my muscles reacted during edging. All this time i edged thinking that these uncontrollable contractions were coming from my pc/bc muscles, when in reality my pc/bc muscles were almost completely relaxed. The only muscle contracting was my ic muscle, which only contracts when i start feeling pleasure, and causes my penis head to become very sensitive leading to orgasm.

    When i first started doing kegels, all i did was flex my pelvic area hard enough to activate the IC, which stabilizes the penis. My pc and bc muscles were barely used. To make matters worse, i did erect kegel weighted exercises, judging a complete rep based on the highest point i could raise my penis. The problem with this exercise is that i worked my ic muscle, since thats all that was required to raise my penis.

    I started to catch wind of this, so during my edging sessions i touched my pelvic area to see which muscles contracted the most, and sure enough, it was the ic muscle. I couldnt tell how much the pc and bc muscles were being engaged, but that all changed when i make a replica of the MPT male pelvic trainer out of clay. I know this is a little weird, but i shaped my own MPT withclay and dipped it in melted hot glue gun sticks to make it water proof. Then i sprayed some gloss glaze on it to make it more waterproof and slippery. Basically what you do is add weight to it and insert it into your...uhmm...anus...and flex your pelvic floor muscles. The shape of the MPT allows you to lift the weight with your pc/bc muscles. It works way better than i expected.

    The first thing i noticed using this device is that my normal kegel would not lift the weight. I had to push a little harder to activate the pc/bc. Flexing my ic had no effect, so i know when im doing a real kegel and when im not because the weight wont go up if i dont push harder to engage the pc muscle.

    With this in mind, i decided to edge with the MPT replica. This way, ill know when my pc/bc muscles are flexing as opposed to my ic muscles. Also, i took off the weight so that im not doing a conscious kegel just to keep it from falling out.
    I found out that the first stroke engages my pc muscle for half a second, then it relaxes for the entire time until orgasm(Guess all those weighted squats paid off). My ic muscle on the other hand, is only relaxed when i experience lower levels of pleasure. Once the feeling starts getting good, my ic muscle contracts, and stays contracted, moving the base of my penis closer to my ball sack. As soon as this happens, i start to feel the PONR approaching really fast. In fact i have to stop right then and there or else im done. At this point my pc muscle is still relaxed, although i cant relax my ic muscle, not even with a reverse kegel.


    After this i did even more research on the forums about the ic muscle, and it finally makes sense why i cant reverse kegel after a year and a half. A few people on the forums said that when they consciously flex their ic muscle, it prevents them from doing a rear reverse kegel, which makes sense.

    So here i am with these overly developed ic muscles and average pc/bc muscles. I wouldnt know how a balanced pelvic floor behaves so i dont really know how to go about fixing this problem. If my ic muscle wasn't so strong, i could probably cancel it out with a reverse kegel, but i think im past that point. Perhaps theres a way to weaken the ic muscle. Perhaps we can figure out a way to stretch the IC muscle. Maybe thats what a reverse kegel does and im just not doing them correctly. At this point im just throwing my thoughts out there.

    What do you guys think i should do? Im very curious as to how your ic muscle behaves as opposed to your pc/bc. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I am so glad I found this post. For weeks now I've been wondering a lot about a muscle that I had been noticing that was contracting without me be able to control it. I began to think it was the BC muscle that I couldn't control while doing a kegal and contracting the PC muscle. Now it all makes sense..So I decided to look into it further on this forum and I believe we may be on to something..

    I think all this time as we kegal, we've been focusing on too much PC/BC muscles. I found a post years back talking about this and in there was a link

    In here they explain that:
    IC delays ejaculation.
    BC - squeeze of this muscle throws our everything out from urethra: urine and semen. It pushes out.
    PC - stops urinating, helps to increase to blood flow in prostate
    Vip muscle - pulls prostate up and helps to close the anus

    In here they explain that IC is what helps you maintain your erection and prolong ejaculation while the BC causes orgasms.
    They then explain how the towel raises has help people overcome PreE. What the towel raises does is builds and strengthen the IC muscle by putting resistance while you kegal.

    I personally have a hard time maintaining an erection once its up (can go away in a matter of seconds if I don't touch it or even move positions), however, I can easily get it back once its down. So this made me think..I can't control my IC muscles for shit and it is really messed up. It is involuntarily contracting and relaxing based on my arousal or another source, Instead i believe it should just be on solid contraction.
    Then something else happen. While I was masterbating..I was at an arousal level of around 8 and near PORN. When I am at this point, I will involuntarily kegal and I believe it is to stop me from hitting PORN. I can feel the IC muscle and BC muscle contract when i IK. But one thing I notice is that I had no control over the IC contraction and it was the first the relax after contracting, then the BC right after. I experimented some more and began to stroke myself again while at 80% erection. I suddenly kegal really hard contracting my anus. I felt the IC muscle contract and then relaxing on its own while I was still squeezing my anus with BC/PC muscle contracting still. I seriously have no control over this muscle but I feel as though if I can control just this muscle to contract it could lower sensitivity in the head of the penis.

    I will look into this a lot more but for now, it seems that lots of penis stretches and beginning towel raises could possibly help. Another thing I will stop doing is edging near PORN. For many years, I've been masterbating/edging close to the PONR as I believe this was the correct "stop and start" method, however, each time I did this, an involuntary kegal would occur. Over the years, the continuous process of this cause me IK to be really bad.
    Read through the link. There is so much useful info that you can analyze and interpret.

    Can anyone else relate to this?

      All these things happen when you do a Kegel anyway but you also squeeze most of the other muscles in this region. If I do a Kegel where I slowly increase the tension I noticed it’s my IC muscle that squeezes first followed by my BC and then my PC. It feels like a muscle in the front of me squeezes, followed by a muscle under my penis, followed by one in my anus.
      So I found it easy to locate this muscle by doing a very weak Kegel making sure you don’t feel any contractions in your anus. Then you get a retraction movement in your penis but no other muscles clench.
      Now that I felt I had located the muscle I put it to the test whilst edging. Someone had said in the thread that by using the IC muscle it stopped the muscle responsible for making you ejaculate from contracting (BC or PC). So I was edging away and I kept squeezing the IC every second just gently and it took me alot longer to reach the PONR, and after that short rest gap it took me ALOT longer to re-reach PONR (which is normally I normally do in 30 seconds). It’s like the small IC muscle contractions stopped the short intense feelings you normally get through out masturbation (the ones that gradually get more frequent the closer you are to PONR). Don’t get me wrong it still felt nice and my erection was constantly great through out."

          Pegasus, how does that feel. Is it just front reverse kegel? I personally feel that I can perform a reverse kegel more and more in the front, but how should it feel when it is right? Everyone says like pissing, but I do not feel that.

            An ic rk is isolated from front rk . So first you develop ability to do rk, then you break front rk off from back rk ,then break ic rk off from front rk . You feel it in the same place as ic kegel .

              Honestly i suck at reverse kegels. I reverse kegel by breathing in, and using that air to push down my pelvic floor using my abs. This explains why i have such a hard time reverse kegeling while laying down, because theres not a lot of air in my stomach when i'm laying down flat.

              I know there are a lot of different articles explaining how to do reverse kegels, and that when you master them you wont need to use breathing,...but there has to be some kind of explanation of what pushes down the pelvic floor if you don't use your breathing. There has to be a muscle other than the diaphragm that expands and pushes the pelvic floor down. If i could just master this and do a front reverse kegel, i really think i can finally beat PE!

                Actually your kegel muscles relax and the pressure cause by the diaphragm causes the muscle to stretch.

                    Personally I do only RK as Pegasus suggests. I am not expert at RK yet, since I also have a hard time managing them. However I do deep hindi squats resting for a couple of minutes and do RK in the bottom position, this has helped me a lot.

                    I am working on moving the RKs more and more into the front but it is very hard, I however think it is the key to fix PreE. And I would personally never perform a normal kegel exercise again unless I get bad erection, delayed ejaculation etc. since I had experience on my own body that regular kegel worsen PreE. I can only imaging how bad IC towelraises would be for me.

                      Well looks like I'm with you on this. I'm doing hard rks while rubbing the head and a rk routine.. Also deep squats and tennis ball massage and I exercise a lot so that's not it I think it's just a habit from holding a kegel while masturbating when younger.. That for sure I will never do again.. I know this will take a long time to do but we can do it!! :P happy rk'ing :P
