I plan on giving up porn from now until I die. I need motivation now though.

I'm 26 and I realized that I don't want erectile dysfunction and a way to prevent that would be to give up porn or stop watching it as much. I just thought that I would be best to give it up instead of toning down. You should give it a shot

Congrats on your decision to give up porn. It is a tough thing to do but not impossible. I highly suggest going to other sites about giving up porn for tips and lot's of support. You can find support here, but on a site dedicated to it will have more. There might even be places where you get a sponsor just like AA. Some might laugh at that but getting off porn takes a lot of commitment and support. I, for one, support you.

In alcoholics anonymous everyone gets a sponsor. This sponsor is someone who gives you support and you literally contact when you feel the urge to fall back (take a drink, look at porn etc).

Your cock becomes conditioned (in a way, addicted) to it. It has a direct wire to your brain. The male is visually stimulated. The female is normally NOT visually stimulated. That is why most (not all) women are not into porn. They will watch it to please their man, but it is a male thing, not a female thing. Of course, this is not true for all women. I am generalizing here.

What you can do, however, is to create your own visual image in your mind's eye. That's what I did when I needed a stimulus to practice penis enlargement, but was sick of watching pornography. I created my own little "porn" scenario in my mind. I got better semi-erections that lasted much longer for my jelqing session than I did from watching porn.

It's a generational thing--came with the net. When I was a kid, they had playing cards and comic books, and that was it.
