Thread: Edging with Fleshlight log

Not too sure exactly when I started, but it's been almost a week of edging. I've decided to keep it at two sessions a day at most. As I noticed previously, more than 2 a day makes me HATE doing this, whereas right now I can't wait to edge, which I think makes me perform better. But I'm mostly going by feel. If I need a break, I'll take it.
I also loosened the a cap a bit, which releases pressure. I don't know if its a complete coincidence, but I performed much better now having done that. I'm going to keep it this way until I reach maybe 10-12 minutes COMFORTABLY, then start making it tighter so that I'm getting more benefit in less time. At the moment, the cap is almost all the way unscrewed.
One more correction, I WILL go over my time limit, but ONLY IF (seriously) I don't feel my PC muscles at all. This doesn't mean PONR, this means if I'm feeling moderate pressure and contracting down there. I'm not sure if I've made it clear, but I'm keeping the sessions so short because I think it's important to make the body get used to NOT feeling the PONR, or contractions down there at all. Of course some are inevitable, but I have been very successful with this method.

Your idea about making the body get used to not feeling the PONR etc might be a good idea. Althought it is very important for one to be used to the feeling and to get comfortable in the area a little before PONR, maybe by doing it to much we train our body/mind to go faster to ponr in order to get more pleasure (since it is far more pleasurable the nearer you are to PONR) and since solo we have a lot more ease controlling it it might not be a problem at first.
This method might just be a good equalizer for people that spend way to much time near PONR. I definatelly see some good potential here and in future I will test it out by having a string of sessions trough the week (or even more) that only last until the first signs of ponr, and ejaculate every third day or so, albeit with no assisting tools.Last edited by Minuteman; 05-28-2012 at 06:05 AM.

Interesting - I've had a similar effect, but with manual stroking and hand-thrusting since I lack a Fleshlight.

Minuteman- I completely agree with you, but I've just had way more success using this approach then the PONR approach, so I'm going to stick with that until I have some diminishing success, and then focus on controlling the PONR. Honestly, I'm still very weak with the whole pelvic floor region. Kegeling (or maybe it was a preexisting condition?) completely fucked my lasting time. Over the years I would completely quit kegeling and start over again several times, and kegels and messing with the PONR always fucked me over. When I can reach 25-30 minutes of constant thrusting, I'll try to figure out the pelvic floor situation. But not right now, this is working too well.

You should definitely stick to what it works, original ideas are always welcome, if you haven't had one I would not have noticed my own potential problem.
Just sometime along the way latter on, spending more time near ponr will be helpful, I think as always it is the mid point and not the extremes that fix the problem (me being the near ponr extreme, you, for now, being the away from ponr extreme, so to speak).

So I took the day off yesterday, hung out with my family and friends and whatnot. It's things like this that I want to stress, you need to live your life and not focus on your premature ejaculation everyday, it's just not healthy and will worsen your problem.
Unfortunately, something else happened. I looked at porn. I didn't ejaculate to it, but I looked at it for a good amount and it leaves a "permanent" effect on me. I watched it yesterday, but it feels like I just watched it, even during the session. My pelvic muscles tense up and I feel "weaker", less wanting to be a man and fight off premature ejaculation. I think it affects me worse than others, but takes this warning as just another example to not look at porn. My session was crap, but I'm not focusing on it too much, instead I used it to work on my PONR a little bit. Since I reached it a lot, I would get to it on purpose and kegel the orgasm off, in which I was successful multiple times.
I think my bad session was due to both the day off, which was my first since I started edging this summer, and watching porn. The porn, I just need to stop doing. Taking a day off shouldn't be a big deal though, and I remember in the past when days off negatively affected my performance. This shouldn't happen, you can't just expect to get laid everyday. This means that you need to make sure that you don't ejaculate everyday to get your body used to it, and that you should embrace taking a day, even DAYS off to program your body to get used to it. If you do this enough, your performance shouldn't be affected that much.

Slow, many breaks, reached PONR multiple times, penis head overly sensitive. Went away at around 5 minutes, but still not normal.

First 12 minutes were incredibly hard, a ton of PONRs and breaks. At the 12 minute mark, it mostly went away but not completely. Came back in the last minute or two, ended up half ejaculating but stopped some of it with a kegel.

So I haven't updated this for a while. The last week has been pretty bad, didn't really keep a good schedule and missed some days. I'm still sticking with the 7.5 minutes and will probably stay with it for another 5-7 days.

alex since you been using the fleshlight stu have you actually has sex to see if all your progress worked? I have the STU too but i rarley use it. Reason being is that since you will achieve orgasm so quick and reach a PONR fast by edging as best as i can! I'm a little hesitant that this will train the mind and body to ejaculate even quicker during sex. Did this product really help you when having real sex?
