    I'm currently in a no porn/fap situation as of now. I'm currently on my 14 day. But it feels like nothing has changed at all. Usually people don't get the urge to watch porn but I get the urge to watch porn and masturbate everyday. I don't see any increase in EQ aswell. I don't if my kegal routine is good enough but I don't know. I'm still ashamed of my penis and still think about sex everyday.

    14 days isn't long enough to see any significant change from abstaining from porn. You're going to need to give it a few months at least, although everyone is different.

    You shouldn't feel ashamed about thinking about sex. Thinking about sex is not the problem. The flooding of dopamine from the hyper stimulus that is porn is the problem. Thinking about sex is normal.

      Don't Give up Bud! you can do it. It is recommended to go at least 30days minimum. You have to give your brain a chance to reboot. You will think about sex all day everyday, its a natural reaction. You have to teach yourself to transmute all that sexual energy into something productive, self improvement. Go to the gym, learn something etc. No fap/No porn is not easy, its HARD, but you can do it and its so worth it.

        It wouldn't even be weird if you think more about sex now than earlier, after all you're not giving in anymore. In other words you don't release the urge by fapping away.

        I guess I'm lucky that only 7 days in I feel absolutely great and have no urges to fap or watch porn. It helps my EQ and my mood in general, so keep going at it. I'm sure you will have the same results if you keep at it.

          Hey CIGP you've reached 14 days and that is a great milestone I think most guys think about sex every day, I certainly do and NEVER EVER be ashamed of your penis. It's part of who you are so stand proud and give it the love it deserves

            Personally I still don't understand this myself, but everyone is different. If I go more than 3-4 days, I'm irritable, and actually get less done because I can only think about either rubbing one out, or trying to screw the first thing that moves. I'd also need to keep a lot of bedsheets and underwear handy, because I'd be making a mess of those at night as well.

              Thinking about sex is totally normal. Feeling shame toward your penis is what you need to change. Sit quietly and think loving thoughts toward your self and your penis. Not sexual thoughts but just positive thoughts. You are wonderful and so is your penis. Love your self. Enjoy your journey.

                I don't get why most guys think no porn = no masturbation. Try edging with cumming two time a week. It will reduce the urge and your mind will learn that it can release without porn.
                I am no expert of course, but that's what I've got told and I myself proved it right. So try this.

                      I think it's more of a test of willpower than anything else. I believe the main goal is just not watching porn. The biggest problem is PIED (Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction) and if you can get off fairly easily without watching porn, you're well on your way to recovery.

                      Seriously though, try not masturbating or having sex for a month. The next time you cum will be like a fire hydrant. It's actually kind of frightening, lol.

                        OP, just fap fap fap if you want.
                        Don't look at porn though.
                        Give a go to edging without releasing more than 2-3 times a week if you want. It will help with EQ.
                        Also do you exercise?

                          I agree with what some of the others have said, no need to give up masturbation as well.
                          Also, yes, two weeks is not long enough to notice a difference. From my own experience at least six weeks until I started to notice the difference.

                            I disagree. If EQ is the problem, give up fapping during reboot process of no porn. Have all the sex you can, just don't fap, takes a lot of will power

                              I feel you man. As the other posters mentioned though, thinking about sex is perfectly normal - we're wired that way! It's part of what makes us human and helps us procreate. If sex wasn't enjoyable and we didn't crave it, we wouldn't be here.

                              I'm new to PE and I can't speak to other techniques, but I think one of the healthiest, natural ways to improve EQ outside of abstaining from porn is to exercise. Strength training in particular starts off a chain of events in your body that releases hormones, endorphins, and improves circulation - all things that boost sex drive and improve EQ. Ever since I started lifting, I get ROCK HARD morning woods and my EQ has never been this good.
