WARNING - long post ahead!
I've been lurking for ~2 years and here are some various notes about what I have learned. Go take a piss and grabs something to drink. :-)
WARM UP
I really did not start gaining (particularly length) until I started using a heating pad to warm up. I use a Thermipaq heating pad. Find out how long you need to microwave it to reach a comfortable temperature. Its temp will continue to rise after you zap it. Wait a few minutes until the temp has stabilized. You can wet a paper towel, wring most of the water out and wrap it around your penis. Then fold the heating pad in half, pinching your penis between it. I warm up for 15-20 minutes.
JELQING
Initially (for ~1 year), all I did was jelq. I jelq sitting down and only pull straight out or up. It took a good while to figure out proper technique. Stretching didn't work for me. When I tried to stretch, as soon as I started doing the rotations, I would get an erection. I also didn't use heat to warm up for jelqs. I would simply acheive multiple 8-10 EQ erections and let them subside. 3-5 expansions seemed to provide an decent warm-up. Then I did sets of 2-3 sets of 100 OK-grip jelqs at ~75% erection. One hand = one rep. This seemed to greatly improve my EQ and erect girth, but no noticeable flaccid gains. Veins became more prominent and I could puncture concrete with my dick. Now I usually only do V-jelqs at low erection levels and I will pause if I get too hard. I will add in a few OK grips if I am maintaining the erection level I want and getting the expansion I want. Experience will tell you how good of a session you are having. I prefer to have more consistent moderate workouts rather than hitting it too hard and having to recover. Doing too many will kill my EQ on the following days. I follow my PI's and will take a day or two off if necessary.
STRETCHING
I only started stretching a few months ago. I do all my stretching lying on my back. I don't try to pull my dick off or force it to lengthen. I try to coax it. My stretching begins with the 15-20 min warm-up described above and then 30-50 JAIs. 2-3 secs per rep while completely relaxed. If you feel any resistance, you're not relaxed. You should not feel your base pull out and expand. If you do, pause/relax/breathe and shorten your pull distance. If you're doing it right, it almost feels like your not doing anything. Believe me, these add up over time and seem to affect flaccid gains. After the JAIs, I move on to static stretching. I perform relatively low-tension 60 sec stretches. I only pull in 3 directions - left, right, and straight out. I start by pulling out at a 45-60 degree angle from straight out. Like I said earlier, I'm not trying to force my dick to grow. I'm trying to coax it. I use a ticking clock to count secs and to distract my mind to stay relaxed. After 60 secs, I do 10 circular rotations around the original angle of pull, using a similar amount of tension. If I'm pulling too hard, I start to become erect or turtle. Back off the tension if you do. Then I swap to the other side/opposite angle and repeat for another 60 secs and 10 rotations. In between these 2 sets, I will do my variation of helicopters - side-to-side flopping for a few secs to make sure I am relaxed. Next comes the straight out stretching. I usually incoroprate tunica tugs at this point. Again, I think lower tension is better. There seems to be a point of diminishing returns with how hard you stretch. Pulling too hard so that it causes an increase in my erection seems to lessen the effectiveness of stretching and will cause turtling. If I am not fully relaxed, I will wait until I am. Stretching with even a semi-erection seems worthless. Relaxed tissues seem to respond better, particularly with tunica tugs. These 3 stretches constitute 1 set. I usually go for 3-4 sets, with 20 secs of helicopters in between. You should feel slightly more relaxed and a further stretch with each set.
Variation
Sometimes on the 2nd and 3rd sets I will change up slightly after the first set of light stretching. 30 secs of static tension, followed by 20-30 kegel pulls ( ala JPs beginner routine), and then rotation stretches. For the kegel stretching, I pull out but stop just short of the tension I use for static stretching. Your dick should be extended, but not fully stretched. Hold this distance and kegel against it to create the actual stretch.
POST WORKOUT
Edging or ballooning. I feel these are ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to making gains. These two things alone will (over extended time) cause gains on their own. After you've spent time pulling on your dick and/or forcing blood into its chambers, it's time to begin the secondary process of PE. Both of the these will continue and prolong physical expansion, and deliver necessary chemicals for physical recovery. Aim for at least 20-30 minute sessions. I would wager that those who complain about doing PE for months/years without gaining, don't edge or balloon afterwards.
REVERSE KEGELS
For the record, I only do normal kegels when I incorporate them with stretching (see above). Reverse kegels are a differnet matter. When I do these, I am not trying to blow my dick out. I pretty much treat it as an internal clamping mechanism to slow bloodflow out. It's almost like an hands-free Uli. I aim for 60 secs or until my erection has subsided slightly, and then I gently massage it back up. It usually comes back to 9-10 EQ and swollen fat. Do this 3-5 times, usually towards the end of my edging session. You can also do this in between jelq sets.
PORN
Yes, it's readily available, but do not become reliant on it. My hardest erections (thus greatest expansions) are without it. No matter how big your dick gets , your brain is still your largest sex organ.
SUPPLEMENTS USED
Start with low doses and gradually increase if necessary.
L-arginine and/or l-citrulline - take one hour prior to edging for increased nitric oxide production.
ZMA - improved sleep and CRAZY dreams in the beginning until you become tolerant. Crazy erection expansion as well.
VISUALIZATION
Just like everything else in this world, PE is just as much mental as physical. Believe. Do not psyche yourself out.
IN THE DARK
I now do my PE in the dark as it lessens any distractions. Relaxation is easier. Visualization is unbounded. Your dick as big as you think it is.
MY CURRENT ROUTINE
Right now, I'm going for length and flaccid gains, so I don't always jelq.
20 min warm-up
stretching (3+ sets as described above)
short edging session (try to achieve a high erection level,then let it subside a little. Repeat 2-3 times)
100 V-jelqs at low erection levels (<50%)
edging for 20-30 min
I may throw in 2-3 Uli's or Supra Slammers during the final edge session. The aim is not to squeeze too hard and blow my dick up. It's all about achieving quality expansion multiple times. Simply blocking off circulation with a light Uli is usually sufficient. Less can definitely be more. Doing too many can kill your future EQ. Take a rest day(s) if you do too many.
REST
Overtraining is real. Follow your PI's. Don't force PE on your dick if you're not feeling it. To me, a rest day is better than a poor workout. It's a long term venture anyway so days off are not going to hurt you. They will always help you. I normally take 1 whole week off every 4-5 weeks. Observe your EQ during these breaks. Your EQ should go above normal. I recently went 8 weeks before a 1 week break. I ease back into it after breaks. I usually go for 5 on/2 off, but will do 2-3 on/1 off when returning from a break.
RESEARCH
I read PEgym for weeks/months before I tried ANY PE exercises. Haste makes waste. Take your time and figure out what it takes to grow. DO NOT expect 8x6 in a few weeks. Accept that it may take serious commitment to achieve noticeable gains.
MY PROGRESS
I did not take any measurements/pics prior to starting. I am now around 6.25 BPEL and 5.25 BEG. I probably gained .75" BPEL and .25"+ EG from my jelqing the first year. I have added another .25" EL and ~.125" EG this year since I started stretching. My flaccid is also noticeably bigger. I could probably gain faster by doing more and at higher intensities, but I don't feel rushed. Staying injury-free is a higher priority. I've never had a lig pop, never been sore from stretching (well, ONE time in the beginning when I first tried and then abandoned stretching) and don't get red dots anymore. I did develop a hard flaccid the first time I tried jelqing. I took a few weeks off and then returned with the less-is-more approach.
Take your time and ease into PE. Focus on the initial conditioning your penis and learn/work on proper technique. I really did not start gaining until I did.
FEMALES
FYI - You don't need a huge/long/fat/massive/8x6 cock to satisfy a woman. Listen to the female input here. They've told you time and again, in so many words, that you can place too much emphasis on your penis size. Males tend to focus their sexuality in the physical realm. You could fuck a hole in a fence and be satisfied. Females are WAY more emotional in their sexual needs. Don't treat them like a pin cushion and for God's sake do NOT treat them like a porn star. Porn != reality. You want to bring a girl to full vaginal orgasm? Let her know you half-ass give a fuck about her. Fuck her brain and not just her pussy. Once she is relaxed and fully trusts you, she will fuck YOUR brains out. Focus on her needs and learn to foreplay.
