Top Performers & 2013-14 Challenges Analysis

Kickinthemebs and I have collaborated our threads to bring members valuable informational in order to predict goals and gains. This is intended to improve your understanding of what to gains to expect and how long it takes to achieve those gains.

I have created two Challenge threads in which members were challenged to set goals and I required them to report back to me in three month check-ins to see how they gained. This provided us will A LOT of useful information to analyze.

Kickinthemebs redesigned and embellished the Top Performers thread into extremely useful information on the limitations of penis growth. He too has done an analysis and an overwhelming amount of data.

We have joined forces to not only share our findings with our PE family members, but also discuss how our analysis can help you in your PE journey.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I required participants to post starting BPEL and EG stats. They were to post 3 month, 6 month and 1 year goals. After every three month check-in they were to report any gains. I originally had not added 9 month goals because I didn't expect to take the stats this far. Even though I didn't require 9 month check-in, I will still ask members to report gains. Here is what we found out...

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This thread isn't as accurate as the 2014 Challenge, because I had not set up the thread to produce useful stats. I have kept these statistics as true as I could, but more emphasis should be put on the 2014 Challenge. Halfway through the year, I had asked members to give me a 6 month goal. I told them that I would check-in at 3 months and 6 months.

65 Members participated in this challenge
    33 Members gained (52%)
20 Members quit or did not check in (32%)

    Top Performers Analysis:

I have broken up the stats into different sections relevant to commonly asked questions about gains in PE. I collated this information from logs, old threads, and old posts, and contacting members directly. The analysis was taken from the members that made it to this thread: PE Gym's Top Performers

The information below is there merely for analytic and observation reasons and is not meant as a valuative interpretation of individual’s gains. The questions and stats I calculated were based on things which I perceived to be the most important, and/or most asked questions about gains from the forum.

I have all of the details saved and will alter the stats on this thread whenever members on this table gain or when there are new additions to the list. Although fresh additions will change the stats and figures, I do not think they will change too dramatically for the foreseeable future. Kickinthemebs

      Challenge Analysis:

So What Does This All Mean?

      Success
      *50% of the members gained
*Those that gained were active on PEGym
*Many members that gain have logs

      Didn't Succeed
      *36% of the members quit
      *Goals were unrealistic
      *Not consistent
      *Many were beginners
*Some members did not hit their goals because of injuries

The stats from the 2014 challenge should be the baseline going forward.

*Most members went for length goals vs. girth goals

*Length goals are 2x that of length gains
*Girth goals are 3x that of girth gains

      What Are Realistic Goals?

*Due to improved EQ gains, Beginners may grow quicker than this table.

      Goal Length Girth
      3 Month .15 .1
      6 Month .3 .25
      9 Month .45 .35
      1 Year .6 .4

      Why Didn't Members Gain?

      *Quit PE
      *Injury
      *Incorrect Measuring
      *Lack of Consistency

If I Multiply My 3 Month Goal x 4, Will This Give Me a Good 1 Year Goal?

Let me introduce the law of diminishing returns.

Diminishing return illustrates that with optimal output, adding one more unit of time, with all other factors constant, will at some point yield lower per time results. In other words, at some point, no matter how much you exercise, your results will start to flatten out. This law can be applied to anything in life. That is why us economists refer to this as a law.

How Can You Set Yourself Up to Succeed?

      *Research
      *Goal Setting
*Monitor PI's and NI's to Prevent Injury
      *Create a Log
      *Find a Veteran Mentor
      *Consistency

        PEGYM TOP PERFORMERS ANALYSIS:

Will I be able to Make it onto the List Some Day?

        * Only 1 in every 225 members will gain 1+ inch in girth or 1.5+ inches in length approximately.

        * Only 1 in every 250 members will gain 1.5 inches+ in length.

        * Only 1 in every 699 members will gain 1+ inch in girth.

        * Only 1 in every 873 members will gain 1.5+ in length and 1+ in girth.

        Answer:
It is not common for members to gain this much, there is a huge turnover of members on the forum and can be seen through the abundance of ghost accounts on the site.

Possible Reasons for such a low number of gainers?

        - It takes on average 1 year and 7 months to gain 1.5 inches in length.
        - Or it takes on average 2 years and 6 months to gain 1 inch in girth.

        Answer:
        1. A lot of members just simply will not stay committed for periods that long and they will usually give up a lot earlier than they aim towards.

        2. This can be seen in Bnip's thread, where 32% of members could not even last the six month period of his challenge.

        3. After the initial "newbie" stage of gaining, gains slow down dramatically for members and most see the time spent on PE to the gains they receive as not worth it anymore.

        4. There are periods of time where members do not gain at all and it becomes disheartening and their efforts seem wasted. For example, 18% of people did not gain during a 6 month period in bnip's challenge.

Does Age Really Matter in the World of PE:

        Age:

        13% - Between 58-64
        58% - Between 22-45
        19% - Between 18-20

        Answer:
As can be seen by the above statistics, there is little evidence to show that any particular age-group is better or worse for gaining in PE. One has to also bear in mind that there is a very high turnover of younger members on the website, but it seems to be members slightly older than teenage years that possibly able to dedicate more time to their routines.

Do larger penises gain quicker/better than others?:

        Answer:

I took the average BPEL penis size to be 5.9 inches.
        - 48% of the members had average starting size or less.
        - 26% of the members had starting size of 7 inches or more.
** This would in turn point to the fact that members who had average or below length generally found it easier to gain length than those with quite large starting size.

I took the average MEG penis size to be 4.8 inches.
        - 54% of the top girth gainers had less than average girth.
        - 46% of the top girth gainers had above average girth.
** The girth that start with does not appear to determine the difficulty or ease of gaining girth.

        - Final Point: Starting length and girth did not matter a great deal, however some of the smallest starting length and girth sizes were actually the largest size gainers.

Other Factors To Consider/Methods Used to Achieve Gains:

        - 26% of the participants had ED or EQ problems before starting PE, so very likely a fraction of their gains were from improved EQ.

        - 19% were aged between 18-20, which may account for late-stage natural growth developments in conjunction with their PE gains. However, this is an uncertain point as there is a wide range and degree of when natural growth stops.

        - 55% were over 20 years old and did not have ED or any EQ issues. However, this number is only the amount of people that did not explicitly describe having these issues in their logs or started threads, so they have actually had poor EQ.

Answer: Improving EQ and/or maintaining good EQ is a key principle to gaining. Even those that did not suffer from poor EQ, still managed to improve upon their EQ in the process. Stamina work appears to be an important factor in big gains, and edging was a considerable element in individual's progress.

What Type of Exercises See the Best Gains?:

        - Just under 100% of the top gainers jelqed and stretched in their routines, either in the conditioning phase where they saw a large percentage of their gains, or kept them on their entire PE careers.

        - 55% explicitly stated that they believed edging was a huge factor in their gains. Some members used it as one of their main forms of PE.

        - There was a largely favourable response towards manual exercises over devices. This may be partly due to "tried-and-tested" methods over "newer" methods.

        - 62% of the top girth gainers said that they used either clamping or pumping in their routines.

Differences Between Gaining Length and Girth:

        - Length is easier and quicker to gain than girth for most members.

        - Only 6% of the total group said it was a lot easier to gain girth instead of length.

        - Whereas 58% of the top length gainers gained less than 1 inch girth.

        - 42% of the top length gainers made it onto the top girth table also.

**Only 6% found it difficult to gain length, while a massive 58% of members gained less than 1 inch of girth. This may have something to do with members either not wanting to gain any more girth or not specifically concentrating on it, but for a good deal of the members they were still actively aiming to increase their girth size.

The figure of 42% may somewhat indicate those who actively sought girth gains during their PE careers, meaning that even bearing other factors in mind, those that were able to get significant length gains were also able to get significant girth gains also.

Possible Reasons for Length/Girth Gain Differences:

        - Beginner routines and routines generally tend to be predominantly length focused, i.e. manual stretches and jelqing at low erection levels. Early large gains in length, people tend to stick with that routine because it was giving them gains.

        - At the end of the day, length is far easier for guys to gain in, for the most part. It is FAR easier to gain an inch in length than an inch in girth, for the predominance of the PE community.

        - Because it is easier to gain length over girth, members tend to keep on going with their length-focused routines. If they are not seeing girth gains, then stick with something that is at least giving you gains.

        - Guys tend to want more length than girth, for whatever reasons.

        - Most girth exercises are quite advanced, and clamping for example is not recommended before 6 months of PE experience. Most people are hard gainers when it comes to girth, so it is a long time into their PE career before they can dedicate to the more advanced exercises for which they need to see girth gains.

              Wow!

Excellent thread guys, wicked collaboration, this is very encouraging to members who are starting below average and trying to catch up, as well as members having commitment issues with their routines!

I very much like your scientific approach, very thorough! 10/10 for effort!

Haha thanks mate, that was behind the ideas myself and Bnip thought about. Newbies always ask the same questions and there is never any physical proof or outline about what they can expect. I think our work outlines and addresses so many issues that are always questioned. Haha, we are all so used to those threads of "can I gain X amount, or how long will it take to gain X amount"

I think this fact from Bnip's research is fascinating: "1.5% Hit Girth Goal".

Such a low figure for all of the people that competed in his challenge. One very clear things which should be realised from both of our efforts is that people set unrealistic girth goals, girth is far harder to gain than length, and/or people focus more on length than girth.

I think I am interested in this because I have shifted my focus and aim towards gaining girth. All my exercises are girth now, with the exception of my extender use.
