Hi. I have a strange insecurity about using a dildo during sex which is larger than myself. My size is 5.3 girth and almost 6 inch length. The thing is, I actually prefer to use larger size dildos on women. I find it aesthetically appealing to see her "full up" so to speak.

I know it might seem like I am a glutton for punishment due to this, but I'm just wondering, from a female perspective, do you necessarily care for a partner using a larger dildo on you (if he has an average sized penis) or would you end up feeling like your sexual partner (casual or otherwise) is lacking compared to the dildo?

I have only ever used a larger dildo on two different women and during sex their reactions were indifferent. I feel like I pleased them with my penis as well as the dildo, but I don't really ask how they felt after sex so I would not know for definite.

My advice is ask the recipient. Open dialogue with sexual partners is taboo for some reason amongst some people but being open about it improves the experience for both parties. As for size well that depends on your outlook on it. I bought my wife her first toy and several afterwards they are bigger but hell the sleeves dwarf them. I agree the only way to truly know, is to keep an open dialogue with your sexual partners regarding their preference. Each girl has different preferences and if they're comfortable, will tell you if they are more comfortable to use one for foreplay with you as the main action, vise versa, or to alternate.

As my username indicates, I used to struggle with this. My first partner, who was my only partner for 9 years had a preference for very large toys (think 9x6.5) and our sex life was shit, hell our whole relationship was shit. As a woman, I would agree with everyone above. For me, the dildo works as a supplement to our sex. For example, he'll use it while going down on me or he might want to put it in my ass while we're having sex.
