Well I have always had a chunky ass even when my abs are through. Lots of athletics as a youngster and football (soccer) blessed me with strong legs and glutes. Woman always cop a feel when I am out in the bars.

The only medical benefits I can think of is if you come off a bike your ass has more cushioning. hahaha.

I think the answer depends on whether the big-ness is a result of lots of muscle, or fat.

In general, muscle is good; fat is bad. A guy who is big because he is in shape is just fine as far as I am concerned. When big = fat or flabby, however, I feel differently about it. But everyone is different.
