Masturbation and Penis Size Gains

masturbation and penis size gains

Does masturbation influence gains? Our penis enlargement survey set to find out.

masturbation and penis size gains

Question 12 of our penis survey asked: On average, how often do you masturbate?

The answer choices:

  • Two or more times a day
  • Once a day
  • A few times a week
  • Once a week
  • A few times a month
  • Once a Month
  • Less than once a month
  • Never

The Breakdown

  • On average, most men masturbated at least once a week.
  • A few times a week” had 231 votes — the most votes by far.
  • In second came “Once a day” with 127 votes. The least amount of votes was “never” with only 12 votes.

Most gains vs. Least gains

According to the results, the men that never masturbated gained the most — with an average penis size increase of 66.23 percent. Meaning, the men that never masturbated added an average of 9.45 cubic inches to their penis (That’s a lot)! The men who gained the least masturbated once a day — with an average penis size increase of 21.11 percent. Meaning, the men who masturbated daily added an average of only 2.66 cubic inches to their penis.

Accordingly, the men who never masturbated gained four times more than the men who masturbated daily! There is, however, one caveat: only 12 men were in the “never” group, and 127 were men in the “Once a day group.” The tenfold difference between the groups could have easily affected the results. In other words, a few lucky gainers in the “never” group could dramatically alter the outcome… Regardless, looking at the results from each group gives a better illustration of the correlation between frequency of masturbation and gains. See figure 1 — Gain in cubic inches.

As you can see, the gains increased (with a few downward spikes) as the frequency of masturbation decreased.

A Deeper Perspective

To get a better picture of the results, we did several different analyses. In this analysis, we split the results into two groups. Group 1 masturbated once a week or more (451 men). Group 2 masturbated A few times a month or less (92 men).

The average gain for:

  • The once a week or more group was 3.84 cubic inches — a penis size increase of 32.09 percent.
  • The few times a month or less group was 5.10 cubic inches — a penis size increase of 40.33 percent.

Meaning, on average, the men who masturbated a few times a month or less gained 33 percent more cubic inches than the men who masturbated once a week or more.

Analysis 3

Again, the results were split into two groups. Group 1 masturbated A few times a month or more (501 men). Group 2 masturbated Once a month or less (42 men). The average gain for:

  • The few times a month or more group was 3.87 cubic inches — a penis size increase of 32.3 percent.
  • The once a month or less group was 6.22 cubic inches — a penis size increase of 47 percent.

Meaning, on average, the men who masturbated once a month or less gained 60 percent more cubic inches than the men who masturbated a few times a month or more.

Analysis 4

In analyses two and three, the second group was much smaller than the first group. Because of this, we wanted to conduct an analysis with a much closer variation. Again, the results were split into two groups. By giving group 2 a higher number of votes (146 men) the ‘small group 2 error’ was limited as much as possible. Group 1 – A few times a week or more (397 men). Group 2 – Once a week or less (146 men). The average gain for:

  • The few times a week or more group was 3.65 cubic inches — a penis size increase of 30.21 percent.
  • The once a week or less group was 5.16 cubic inches — a penis size increase of 42.60 percent.

Meaning, on average, the men who masturbated once a week or less gained 41 percent more cubic inches than the men who masturbated a few times a week or more. See figure 2 – Analysis 4.

The results could be due to other variables

As with any empirical research, there is always the possibility of other variables affecting the results. Here is a list of suggestive variables that might have affected the data.

  • The number of men in each group. The majority of the men masturbated a few times a week or more (397 of the 543 men). See Figure 3. The lower number of votes in the groups with less masturbation would make it easier for unknown variables to influence the data. However, this is variable is less likely because Analysis 4 has a higher number of men in the “less masturbation group” (146 men), and the results showed a clear correlation with less masturbation and more gains.

  • The amount of self control in the “never” group . By far, the men who gained the most were the few men who never masturbated. This group has an abnormal amount of self control (or less sexual desire). A high amount of self control would most likely branch off into other aspects of life, such as keeping a consistent penile exercising routine–an advantage that every man doesn’t have.
  • Is it masturbating or ejaculating that affects the results? This question did not control for ejaculating. The results from question addresses ejaculation and penis size, and suggests that ejaculating leads to decreased gains, not masturbating.

CONCLUSION

The results show a correlation between less masturbation and more gains. On average, the men that masturabated less gained more. Analyses 1 – 4 show distinct correlations with decreased masturbation and increased gains.

Analysis 3 shows that the men who masturbated once a month or less gained 60 percent more cubic inches than the men who masturbated a few times a month or more. A worthy note: The group that never masturbated started out with approximately 2 more cubic inches than every other group.

  1. This makes me wonder. Do the men who masturbate more and have less increase in penis size, do so because they are less satisfied with sexual activity/friction? To me, penis size does matters. Especially girth. It creates more friction, and a much better orgasm.

  2. Did the guys who said that they never masturbated have regular sex with a partner, i.e. every day, 4/5 times a week, etc.? The fact is that those who said “never” must ejaculate sometimes or else they are going to have serious health problems as this process is essential for the maintenance of the prostate gland. Interesting study but needs further clarification of exactly what the participents did in order to get anywhere near a definite conclusion. I started jelqing about 4 weeks ago in order to get increased girth, have not noticed any gains as yet but it’s too soon I’m told, will probably not notice any gain (if any) in under 3/4 months at minimum.

    • Nocturnal emission is the body’s natural response to the inactivity that you’re talking about. That will happen.

  3. @ PGB13: It isn’t a matter of lying. What the researchers were trying to do is very much commendable. This problem is that there is a lot of data missing that would give 100% accurate results. As such, the numbers are skewed because they had to work with what they were given. I personally believe that more controls should have been implemented into the data collection and other information should have been obtained so that way more accurate stats could be given. However, I do understand that it is a very time consuming process, so I give credit to the researchers for at least getting a general idea.

Other controls that needed to be focused on and items that needed to be taken into consideration are things like: did the people taking the survey answer HONESTLY? The ages of the participates (which would be then broken down into age groups); marital/relationship statuses; sexual activity other than masturbation; ethnic backgrounds (some ethnic backgrounds are less likely than others to masturbate and it is the same for religion); health factors (such as medications or illnesses that would cause either more or less of a sex drive or urge to engage in such activities)…….the list can go on. Again, I commend the guys that gathered and analyzed the data to share it, so take it with a grain of salt and see where you fit in. No one knows you or your body better than you do, so if you masturbate regularly and still see gains, good…….but for those that are not gaining, they might find this information useful as the frequency of masturbation just might be the issue. Try to remain positive to everyone as we are all here for the same reason.

  4. […] also discuss possible scenarios that would make implant replacement either necessary or advisable. These may include an implant rupture leaks resulting in deflation capsular contracture (scar tissue development) or infection. […]

  5. thats a lie i masterbate like 4 times a day have my dick like a beast 7.5 inches

  6. Nice overall idea, but as a skeptic I would say that you can’t draw any conclusions from the data at hand. Several of the categories are based on a number of votes that are in the double digits, they all need to be in the hundreds or maybe even thousands to extract a reliable trend.

As mentioned in the article other factors may have governed their growth factor and the significance of these factors increases the fewer the votes are.

  7. My question is this, we’re the people who never or rarely masturbate also asked how often the have sex? I wouldnt think someone who never wanks OR has sex would take the time to .PE. Just a thought.

  8. I don’t think it does…I mean look at the people who said they masturbate 2 or more times a day. They gained more than the people who said they do it once a day, a few times a week and a few times a month and less than once a month. This study doesn’t prove anything really. It seems if you masturbate more than once a day it helps your gains more than hinders according to this study. I just think it depends on the person. Masturbating will just make it harder for your penis to heal…maybe that is a good thing though in PE since you are trying to cause damage and when it heals it is harder to cause the damage to grow.

  9. It may be that men who never masturbate have penises that are the least conditioned and most ready for tissue increases. That is, men who masturbate have already caused some penis enlargement for themselves.
