Sorry but no book will make you funnier, or more handsome, or tell you how to get a girl. You see you are what you are and should be proud of what you are. Trust me someone will love you for it so don't try to be something you're not. As the old expression goes; "there is an ass for every seat!"
The world's still a toy if you just stay a boy!

I recommend Mark Manson's "Models". It's a dating book that teaches you how to attract women with honesty instead of flashy gimmicks and cheesy pickup lines or routines.

My $.02 to add to this is BOUNDARIES. Learn what they are and how to respect others' boundaries while maintaining your own. You'll do a lot better with women if you know why you shouldn't say certain things and when it's appropriate to touch her vs. you getting desperate and grabby.

Also, stay away from the general PUA books and advice. That shit will only end up hurting you and drive away quality women. It may help you get laid with the easiest of drunken sluts, but it provides a false sense of security and teaches you poor interpersonal skills and game playing. Not a good if you're looking for any long lasting relationship.

Being funny doesn't come from any book. It's your take on reality, the delivery, and the unexpected punchline. In order to be funny you have to know your audience and know what they find funny. You also have to be prepared for people to not laugh or take offense at your jokes, which is not fun but that's the risk you take. Try to not think about making others laugh and focus instead on what you find funny. You'll find someone who has your sense of humor sooner or later.
