  • Is soreness normal after jelqing

Hello, I just started my forth week of PE today. I jelq/stretch Monday-Friday. Warm-up for 5 mins, stretching for 5 min, jelqing for 10 mins, and lastly warm-down for about 5 mins I know many of you will probably think that is too much for a beginner but its kind of the only schedule i can follow at this point. Anyways, after jelqing today I noticed I was sore for about 1 1/2 hours. The soreness is completely gone now. I'm just wondering if the soreness is normal or am I over training? But remember the soreness is gone now so it makes me feel like i'm okay. I just want opinions from fellow PEGYM members so I know that I am on the right track. Pretty much is soreness to be expected? Thanks for reading!!!

    Any response will be appreciated.

I have been jelqing for years and with a very intense pressure and have never been sore afterwards. This isn't like lifting where you feel soreness for the first few workouts initially. Actually I don't think your routine is too much, but you must have done something different this time, or you are working it too often. Some turtling for an hour or two afterwards is one thing, I believe turtling is a sign you worked it well. Some fatigue afterwards is also ok, but not soreness.
